We had an amazing time exploring Bohol’s countryside, and staying on this beautiful farm was the perfect way to experience it. From sharing a fire under a sky full of stars and fireflies to the peaceful surroundings, everything felt magical. Huge thanks to Lornie, who was a wonderful and welcoming host. She made our stay truly memorable of course also thanks to the great food she prepared for us! 😊

It was a quiet, peaceful, clean and big place for staycation. Ms. Susan was very responsive and helpful, she was generous and accommodating. It was a farm villa in Albur that quite far from the city/mall. I would highly recommend this place for big groups! We’ll be back soon!

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Bitoon Resthouse. I could write an entire essay of how great it was. The place is so peaceful and relaxing. Caretakers sir Nilo and ma'am Loraine made me feel right at home upon arrival. They were so proactive whenever I had a favor to ask. They are both ever so present if necessary and yet so discreet and respectful of the need for privacy. The beach located a few steps from the house remains raw. When the tide is low I could take a walk along the receded coastline which is teaming with life and bedecked with beautiful shells that one can no longer find in other more developed beaches. Perched on the sea wall as I waited for sunrise, I saw a tiny bump of what I believe to be a whaleshark breaking the surface. I'm not a pool person so I can't say how it is. But I can say, the pool is cleaned, filled in, filtered and maintained by sir Nilo at least twice a day. Actually, the entire place is clean and spotless. All amenities are in working condition

Die Unterkunft war für meine Bedürfnisse perfekt! Eine Farm, etwas abgelegen in den Bergen, mitten in der Natur mit wunderschöner Aussicht, Reisfeldern, sehr netten Nachbarn und ruhig. Rund um die Unterkunft herum ist ein wirklich toller Garten. Angel organisierte mir sogar einen befreundeten, sehr netten Tourguide, wodurch ich Dimiao einfach und vor allem authentisch erkunden konnte. Was meinen Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem gemacht hat: Angel und seine Familie sind so herzlich und nehmen dich von Anfang an wie ein Familienmitglied auf! Angel half mir bei allen möglichen Anliegen und bemühte sich sehr darum, dass ich mich wohlfühle.

Jolie petite chambre avec salle de bain dans une jolie villa, très propre, nous y avons séjourné qu'une nuit pour faire un stop avant de rentrer, c'est très pratique, néanmoins la chambre donne directement sur la grande route et la nuit les camions scooters roulent très vite, et le bruit est infernal.. il faudrai renforcer la fenêtre qui donne sur la rue. Pour le prix payer cela reste très bien quand même :)

Es wurde sich problemlos um einen Transfer für uns gekümmert. Obwohl wir erst spät abends ankamen, hatten wir einen sehr herzlichen Empfang und uns wurde sogar noch ein extrem leckeres Abendessen gekocht. Ding ist eine sehr liebenswerte, höfliche, zuvorkommende, lebensfreudige Haushalterin und zusätzlich die beste Köchin auf den Philippinen! Sie hat uns einige Ausflugsziele genannt und uns unterstützt. Roller ausleihen war sehr unkompliziert. WLAN war hervorragend und der Pool war sehr angenehm. Einzigste Anregung, da dass Badezimmer im freien ist, kommen die Mücken auch ins Schlafzimmer.

We loved staying at Sally’s place. It was a true haven of peace to stay with them. The house is beautiful. We had the bedroom and private bathroom on the ground floor. Sally arranged the transfer from the port to her home, as well as the scooter rental, which was waiting for us when we arrived. She recommended waterfalls and other spots that we really enjoyed. The delicious breakfast was carefully prepared and served every morning. If we ever come back to Bohol, we’ll definitely stay again with this lovely couple.
