It is the perfect place to unplug and unwind while looking at wildlife in the backyard or sitting in a beautiful flower garden surrounded by hundreds of hiking trails. We are in a rural setting, but yet just a short drive to a variety of State Parks, fishing creeks, and the City of Williamsport - home of the Little League World Series!

Whispering Brook

Press your inner reset button by immersing your body and soul in nature’s calm. Enjoy tall pines, towering oaks, and a bubbling stream. Enjoy complimentary coffee on our screened-in porch, and take long, quiet walks in the pure mountain air. Grill or roast hotdogs and s’mores over the open fire. As darkness falls, appreciate the brightness of stars twinkling above a black forest night. Welcome to Lock No. 34 of the West Branch Canal. Located on the Susquehanna River across from the city of Lock Haven. Stroll the riverbank. Spend the day exploring the PA Wilds. Wander the local shopping district. Enjoy dinner at one of many local restaurants and a movie at the historic ROXY Theatre, or enjoy a summer concert at Triangle Park or the Floating Stage. Only 35 miles from State College & Penn State University Football at Beaver Stadium or a Little League game in Williamsport.

Beautiful hikes and great fly fishing are located a short drive away in almost any direction.

Paps Place is walking distance to Original Little League and Journey Bank Ballpark @ Historic Bowman Feild, home of the Williamsport Crosscutters. The Little Leauge Museum is approximately 5 miles away. There are numerous local breweries and restaurants near by. Downtown activities are abundant throughout the year. Hiking trails and the river walk are also close to this cozy home. Pennsylvania College of Technology, Lycoming College, and UPMC hospital are all minutes away.

The Dug Out

Fully furnished basement apartment in private home, with a private entrance. You'll find everything needed for overnight stays including a kitchenette, bathroom, office and living areas, as well as a queen sized bed with flat screen tv and wifi. It is within 5 miles of all types of stores. This apartment is in walking distance to the Crosscutters Baseball field and the original Little League baseball field. The Little League World Series Stadium is 15 minute driving time.
