Perfect spot, great size apartment, everything we needed! Walking distance to absolutely everything, lake, parks, markets, shops, museum, sports fields etc. Would definitely stay again

Attractive and stylish period property with fresh neutral decor and plenty of space. High ceilings and original features. Location great, at start of one of the main roads out of town, less than 5 mins from train station. Town centre walkable in 10 - 15 mins through an established Victorian residential area around Lovers’ Walk. River / Whitesands area 15 - 20 mins walk. Easy parking for the property on adjacent side streets. Bus route too (Dumfries to Lockerbie). Property is on the ground floor of a 3 storey townhouse, with around 10 steps up to front door. Dumfries town centre and surroundings have lots to offer. Robert Burns’ House and Centre, Gracefield Art Gallery, River Nith and Dock Park, town Museum, small cinema, plus shops including M&S, a large old Dept Store (Barbour’s), and independent shops such as Flourish, for local gifts etc. Plenty of cafés, restaurants and pubs.

This is a lovely flat with wonderful views. It is conveniently located in the centre of Keswick. The flat is well equipped. We loved it!

This was the first time I have stayed in the Lake District and I will definitely return and stay at The Cottage Worship. The cottage was very cosy, clean, with beautiful surroundings. Michael and his wife were very welcoming and friendly and on hand if we needed anything. On check-in there was a welcoming hand written note with a little tipple and chocolates, a beautiful touch A fabulous stay, a well worthy 10 out of 10

Loved our time at Crandy Nook. Fab location right in the centre of Keswick, so close to the lakeside and with views of the hills from the spacious living room-kitchen-dining area at the top of the house. We had one small query at the start of our stay, which Lorna resolved quickly. Her communication was excellent.

Fantastic weekend in this well thought out apartment. Loved the bath . I didn’t want to get out of the bath. Slept like a log and the hike to st bees down the coast was magnificent. I’ll be back ❤️

Kirkcudbright is a very nice town. Worth a visit: peaceful, green, clean and probably the friendliest people I have come across. The house really is perfect - one of the best we have stayed at. Host is friendly and proactive in communication. Getting there, getting in and getting comfortable is all so easy. I cannot think of anything to find fault with- everything you need is here and how you want it. Lovely welcome pack too. Lots of space in the house and dog friendly (lots of good walking areas behind the house).

Great location! Good size house for a large family gathering, or possibly a group of walkers. . You can walk to Keswick on footpaths from the door as well as a walk up Dodd. Really enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again. Glyn and Paula

I think Rose's place was exactly what we needed on the last night of our roadtrip to the Highlands from London. Perfect place to take off on a detour through the Lake District on our way home. Very quirky, but fun decor inside.

I would highly recommend this beautiful home from home. Fleur & John were amazing, very kind & attentive. They even decorated the house for my birthday, plus a couple of extra treats. I felt very spoilt. The place was warm, welcoming, comfy & very clean. The mini pool table was a real hit with my family. We'll definitely be back.

Highly recommend for Nature lovers!! this place offers comfort and stunning views. Alot to do around this area. James is really friendly, helpful host and always responsive. Overall positive experience!

Perfect for our requirements. We were there only for two nights to climb Scafell Pike. The house was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and bathrooms good. Very good price, right in the town with great amenities close by.

We had a great weekend in Keswick over Easter. The house is 10 minute walk into town and close to Fitz Park which the kids loved. Lots of walks from the doorstep so we didn't move the car all weekend. One tip, make sure you book restaurants for the evening (although Easter weekend was probably unusually busy). Lovely house / stay

This flat is lovely not far from the Turnberry hotel so great location. Clare was lovely and even dropped the key off for me at the hotel as was having lunch. Lovely quiet area the flat is in plenty of parking. Lovely surroundings beach, light house. Highly recommend will be back 💖

Came up from London with my partner to visit my brother and his family who live in Creetown. The drive from the apartment there was 10 mins so amazingly convenient for us! The apartment itself did everything you could need. Modern, clean, simple basics, but great internet, comfy bed, and lovely tv. Very lovely bathroom too! We arrived 3 hours late - early hours of morning but the check in instructions were so simple we did not need to disturb our host. Everything was honestly great. A little noise if you’re in the bedroom from the local pub but nothing excessive.

Fantastic property in a peaceful area of Portinscale ,easy walking distance into Keswick,the designated parking place was an added bonus. I’m a single traveller with no dogs,the apartment had no smell of dogs,no dog hairs and was spotlessly clean. The shower cubicle was a good size ,the shower was easy to operate either rainfall or normal shower head with great water pressure. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to either make yourself a snack or to cook yourself a meal. The bed linen and towels were lovely and fresh and the bed was lovely and comfortable, overall the apartment was home from home. Did a number of walks on Saturday and Sunday,Derwent circular walk,Cat Bells and Latrigg,will definitely be returning to attempt Scafell and Skiddaw. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment

Except for the fact that getting to the apartment is a little tough ( you have to climb stairs of 2 floors through a narrow hallway ), everything else was perfect experience. Apartment is near to shops etc, great location and the apartment itself is absolutely lovely. great furniture, they even left a note to us and left some milk and stuff on the fridge for us which was such a lovely gesture. highly recomment if you are visiting seascale beach or any other place nearby.

Great little flat for a visit located right by the Dock Park which is perfect if you have kids and for a walk round. Designated parking space right outside the property and a short walk into town. Provided lots of recommendations for restaurants and takeaways and things to do whilst visiting. Would highly recommend this place and would happily book again when the time comes.
