Both Silver Falls State Park and Abiqua Falls are under 20mi from this location and worth the trip.

Located near Hwy 22 in Mill City (30 miles from I-5 & Salem) The cabin was the original home to the Charlie Stewart Family in 1949. Updated in 2022. It comfortably fits 2 adults & 1 child. Sofa bed is NOT recommended for adults. Private, the whole place is yours! No shared walls; our home is behind the cabin. Great for travellers, kayakers, and campers. Walking distance to parks, river, store, bar & grill. RV parking on request. EV charging available with advance arrangements only.

Drive down a long private road, set off of the HWY, to find a riverfront cabin amidst the lush Willamette National Forest. As you wind through the driveway you will find a sanctuary for relaxation, recreation, and comfort. A trail from the back deck will lead you down to the bank of the emerald waters of the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River Trail parallels the property, and is accessed from the private road to the cabin. The property has a campground setting, with river and forest views.

Along with a cozy, fun décor and all amenities, the Bunkhouse also has an outside kitchen and dining area that seats 15. A gas fireplace on the deck and wood fire ring invites evening dinner parties. We want to make you comfortable while you kayak, raft, fish and hike, or enjoy Giovanni's Pizza and Rosie's Café 5 minutes away.
