"Bucking Bull Bunkhouse" on Bucking Bull Farm

Experience this "ole" west one of a kind cabin and go back in time to the early 1900s. Take a soaking bath in the cowboy brothel type tub. Get a laugh seeing a recreated outhouse bathroom but with a modern toilet. Enjoy eating on a chuck wagon tabletop. Additionally, sit by an open firepit and make complimentary s'mores all while gazing at the galaxy of stars, watching the wildlife, and viewing our cattle during the day. Molly our gentle jersey may even let you pet her at the fenceline.

Muscadine Manor is a cozy cabin retreat that sleeps up to 4 with a queen bed and a full sofa bed. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, comfy living space, washer/dryer, and all linens provided. Step outside to your private picnic table and firepit with grill, perfect for evenings under the stars. Guests also have access to the resort’s pond and pier, walking trails, playground, dog park, camp store, and game room with pool table and darts—everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Little House in the Great Big Woods

The simple life!! Quaint little house just close enough, and yet far enough away from the city bustle. Lake Claiborne and Lake D'Arbonne are nearby, for fishing or watersport, and there is ample parking for the boat. Situated on 6.5 acres of a variety of trees, the property includes a hiking path around the perimeter, a seasonal creek, and occasional wildlife. Plenty of parking, inclusive of two covered spaces and room for an RV if needed. Very special and unique features for the area.

Waterfront - The Red Camp at Lake Bistineau

About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. We can always see water from our property, but the water’s edge is out past the trees. Great for a walk in the lakebed! also, please check out our neighboring property, Shades of Blue!

Piney Woods A-Frame is a cozy rustic cabin tucked away from it all to give you the solitude you've been craving. This is the prefect place for a couples get away, a girls’ weekend, a fishing trip, or just a solo escape. Outdoor lovers will get the best of both worlds here- escape to a cabin in the woods while also being right on the water! Water levels are back to normal so you can enjoy taking out the kayaks! There’s stocked firewood for campfires, board games, & propane for grilling!

Cozy 2 bedroom guest house on Caney Lake.

Come enjoy a peaceful getaway on Caney Lake. Our guesthouse is an updated mobile home that is right behind our main house. While the mobile home is not waterfront, we love for our guests to enjoy our floating boathouse and our yard (that is waterfront) with lounge chairs, hammock and a fire pit. Feel free to cast a line! If we are there staying in the main house, we desire for you to feel freedom enjoying these spaces! There are bream and bass galore so bring your fishing pole!

The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.

Cabin #2 at Creekwood Gardens

Cozy cabin located at Creekwood Gardens. Queen bed and sofa bed make this cabin ideal for families and friends needing a getaway. Plenty of outdoor spaces to relax including a covered deck with outdoor furniture and a fire pit area. Walk through the lush gardens that wind around a lovely pond. The cabin has a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.

Lake Front Cabin

Our 1 Bedroom Cabin is over the water on Lake Claiborne. Very Clean swimming area with great views of the lake. Boat ramp and dock for guest use. Can sleep up to 7 with ease. Easy to access the cabin for people who have trouble with steps. There is only one step up from ground level into the cabin.

Hinckley House

Private 600 sq ft, one bedroom guest suite with full kitchen, living area, and full bath; under the roof of a Craftsman style home built in 2018 in the heart of Ruston. A few minutes walk to downtown shops / restaurants and Louisiana Tech campus. Private entrance and covered carport for guest.
