This place was fantastic! We stayed here with our 4 daughters. They loved feeding and talking to Hershey the donkey every day. The home was clean and SO WELL SUPPLIED! We have stayed in so many AirBnBs where we had to rewash the silverware for every meal--not here! There were cooking utensils and silverware and plates and cups and bowls galore as well as tinfoil and parchment (so helpful for leftovers and baking). The owner also quickly supplied firewood when she realized it had been overlooked. We loved sitting in the front room playing games, reading, doing puzzles and enjoying the woodstove. The home is at the end of a mountain road and we hiked on the mountain and took walks up and down the road. The only constructive criticism I would have is that the key instructions are confusing. I would just say, there is no key, just a keypad with a code to get in and out. Thank you again for lovely quiet place for us to get away and celebrate New Years!

Beautiful place in a beautiful location. It's peaceful and quiet. The deck is great to hang out on and for grilling. Everything is as advertised. It's not fancy, but a great place to stay for a few days or a week if you really want to get away from things.

My girlfriends and I stayed at this beautiful NC house and we loved it!! It was a nice way to get away from the city and have a relaxing weekend full of board games, baking Halloween cookies and treating ourselves to an in house spa night. The house was so beautiful and we were obsessed with all the themed rooms. The hot tub was of course a hit! The house is also near great hiking spots. We did a hike inside the neighborhood and we also went to Chimney Rock State Park, which isn’t far from the house. We ended our weekend at the neighborhood restaurant which had plenty of yummy food options and beautiful scenery to take lots of photos at! We absolutely loved in and would go back again!

Cowboy Cabin was an awesome stay. Just as described. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of amenities. Close to everywhere we needed to get to. Kimberly was extremely responsive with communications. Perfect for our needs.

Stayed for three months while work was happening on our house. It was as close to feeling like home as it could have been. Loved sitting outside in the rocking chairs or around the fire pit (that I now need to buy one like it lol). Beds were very comfortable and it had everything needed. Hated to leave and would stay again if needed

Marisa’s house is a beautiful cabin that was worth every penny. It is convenient to Brevard and the Pisgah Forest for the fishing and outdoor enthusiast. Marisa was very accommodating to my group and was prompt to responding to messages. The house was clean and lacked no amenities. The kitchen was well furnished with pots, pans, etc. and linens were plentiful. I would recommend Marisa’s place for anyone hoping to get away and stay in a beautiful part of North Carolina.

There really are no words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay. For our family of 6, and our 2 doggies, we were looking for a large space in a beautiful and peaceful setting to enjoy the holidays together. We are all so busy and run in different directions, and we thought this would be a great way to have a captive Christmas for everyone to enjoy time together! We were right! The owner has the house decorated perfectly for Christmas, and the basement level was perfect for our 3 grown boys to play video games and bond together! Grandma enjoyed the large tv with the giant window overlooking the mountain and lake - and mom & dad (us) enjoyed the master bedroom & bath with a balcony overlooking the mountain and lake. It was perfect, like Switzerland, but only 2 hours from home! We have treasured memories of our trip!

Our family reunion of 7 recently spent a wonderful and relaxing 4 night stay at "276 Roberts".   The home interior was beautiful and provided for lively competition on the pool table.  The hot tub & fire pits (2!) were used daily.  The well equipped kitchen, outdoor grill, dining area with dramatic views to the south/west offered the perfect spot for us all to enjoy home cooked meals.  Even though the location was central to many favorite spots; Jump Off Rock, Hendo Shops/Restaurants/Breweries/Cideries & AVL airport, many hours were spent just sitting on the expansive porches that offered panoramic views of the beautiful WNC mountains.  The morning fog across the mountain ridges and flora/fauna  (blooming native 'orange' azaleas), formed a backdrop like no other AirBnB that we have experienced.  Dan & Jacqueline were very helpful in answering any questions and we appreciated their welcoming communications. We look forward to a return to '276' or any of their other properties!
