We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

My wife and I loved our stay! The house was clean, tidy and comfortable. The surrounding view was exceptional, all visible from the hot tub which was all too welcoming after a few days of hiking! Would recommend to anyone! 😁

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!

Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad hier. We hebben genoten van alle faciliteiten die het huisje te bieden heeft. Bij aankomst was het vuurtje aan en het bubbelbad al heerlijk verwarmd. De eigenaar is vriendelijk, attent en responsief. We kregen goede tips voor de regio. We komen hier graag nog eens terug!

Wir hatten über Ostern fast drei Wochen für 6 erwachsene Personen gebucht und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Das Wohnzimmer war für Ostern sehr schön dekoriert, warm, sehr sauber und groß genug für uns alle. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Skifahren war wegen Schneemangel nicht mehr möglich, dafür konnten wir wunderbare Wanderungen unternehmen. Lises Haus ist wirklich zu empfehlen und wir möchten gerne wiederkommen.

Kristian was a terrific host. His home was very comfortable in walking distance to everything yet In a quiet area of town. The view from his apartment was also amazing. Kristian was in constant communication making our stay very easy. He also was great at offering ideas for day trips. We rented a car and drove to Geiranger which we highly recommend. The route Kristian gave us took us to some of the most beautiful areas of the country. We highly recommend staying at Kristian's home.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce logement très confortable et flambant neuf. Nos hôtes étaient très sympathiques et nous avons pris beaucoup de plaisir à les rencontrer. Bon spot pour explorer les environs!

This lovely place was our home for almost a month. The location is central and the house very cozy. The mountains are your backyard and the sea right in front of you. We made several trips to the surrounding area, including freeskiing in the mountains, surfing in Hoddevik, Runde puffin island, city visit to Ålesund and hikes in the area. There are several rental saunas in the area, the nearest one is 5 minutes away. The house is well equipped. The hosts Anne-Mari and Terje are very helpful. Sometimes there was bass from the road from the youth's cars, but it didn't bother us too much. Would love to go back again!

This peaceful place mixed with a comfortable place to call home was the ideal ending to a trip to Norway. The house is set up with great areas to sit and write, kick back and relax, cook delicious food, and get a good night's sleep. I enjoy the house and thought it was cozy. The island was quiet, the walks were inspiring and the sea and mountain views were breathtaking. Ruben's parents were a delight and so helpful and kind. I can't say enough about their generosity. If you're looking for a place to relax, reset, and unwind this is the ideal location. It's rare in this busy world to find a place where you can breath fresh air, move your body, be inspired by nature and feel safe in a cozy home. The island has sheep and llamas to entertain you! If I come back to Norway, I'll definitely make this part of my trip! Thank you to Ruben and his parents for creating a safe haven for us all to enjoy!

Det her var en kjempefin og rolig plass. Fin utsikt. Vi var 12 stk personer og hadde god plass. Kan anbefale den her plassen til hvem som helst.

Fijne communicatie met Kristin. Alles was helder en goed uitgelegd. Het appartement is ruim, voldoende plaats. De eenpersoonsbedden bij op de kamers zijn wat kleiner dan we gewend zijn, maar verder niks op aan te merken!

Nydelig beliggenhet med svært gode solforhold. Fantastisk beliggenhet for padling og fjellturer.

Koselig leilighet liggende helt nede ved vannet. Nydelig både sommer og vinter 🙂

Marits Haus am Meer ist wirklich wunderschön, egal bei welchem Wetter! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, Marit war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung eignet sich hervorragend zum Wandern und dirket vor der eigenen Tür kann man vorallem bei Ebbe super schwimmen gehen. Ebenfalls sehr erwähnenswert ist die Sofaecke, die bei jedem Wetter der Favoritenplatz Nummer 1 war und sich bestens eignet um allerhand Tiere, Schiffe und Naturphänomene zu beobachten. Wir kommen gerne nochmal wieder und danken Marit und Gine für ihre Gastfreundschaft!

La casa di Monica è Ivar è un meraviglioso nido affacciato sul mare, una dimora storica ricca di fascino, bellezza e amore. L'appartamento airbnb è situato al piano terra, ampio e luminoso e dotato di tutti i comfort: cucina perfettamente attrezzata, lavatrice, stendibiancheria. Ogni dettaglio è ricco di gusto e la pulizia è perfetta, letto e cuscini sono comodi e abbiamo dormito perfettamente. La posizione è eccezionale, a 5-10 minuti di auto da Alesund in bella zona residenziale. La vista dalle finestre del salotto è stupenda e uscendo all'esterno si è direttamente affacciati sul belvedere sul mare. Monica è un host perfetto e una persona squisita, lei e Ivar ci hanno davvero fatto sentire come a casa con loro gentilezza e passione per l'ospitalità e i consigli che abbiamo ricevuto per visitare la zona sono stati preziosi. Comunicazione eccellente. Il migliore soggiorno nella nostra nostra lunga vacanza norvgese, non fatevi sfuggire l'occasione di fermarvi qui. P.S. La birra di Ivar è davvero super!

Et hjem du føler deg hjemme i. Utsøkt kaffe. Innholdsrikt, stort, smart/ smakelig innredet hus. Flott avslappet utsikt til havet. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Vi hadde en super vinterferie på hytta , kommer gjerne tilbake! Fin beliggenhet nærme trekket og hytta er velutstyrt og stor. Perfekt utgangspunkt for noen fine avslappende dager!

We had a lovely stay at Sverre, Ruth & Geirs Cabin. The location is great and the views are really wonderful. Inside you find everything that you need from kitchen utensils to a pool table and skis. It is so cozy in the chairs, with the fireplace on and it’s snowing outside. We would recommend and come back again anytime. Thank you for the perfect trip!
