Great hosts and great accommodation.

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

The apartment is very spacious and not far from supermarkets and the train station to Stavanger central. Obviously the view is amazing.

WOW!!! En fantastisk lägenhet med underbar havsutsikt! Vi bodde i denna vackra lägenhet i några dagar som hade precis allt man kan önska sig för en bekväm och avkopplande vistelse. Lägenheten var modernt utrustad med TV, högtalare och Netflix – perfekt för mysiga kvällar. Det var knappt 10 minuters promenad till centrum, allt låg väldigt nära. Ett stort plus är även garaget där man fick parkera sin bil! Hyresvärden var otroligt trevlig och tillgänglig dygnet runt, svarar väldigt snabbt på frågor. Vi rekommenderar starkt detta boendet och vi kommer definitivt tillbaka!

Die Kommunikation mit Ingrid war äußerst freundlich und auf Nachfragen wurde schnell und offen reagiert. Die Hütte ist wirklich sehr süß und die Leiter ins Schlafzimmer hat mittlerweile Kult-Status erreicht. :D Entspannung pur und die Außendusche war überhaupt kein Problem. Die Lage direkt am Fjord ist phantastisch.

I absolutely cannot say enough about the hosts, they were lovely. They were helpful, proactive, but also very responsive. The place was spotless when I walked in which made it easy for me to leave it that way.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is well laid out and bigger than I thought. The marina is lovely to walk by in a summer evening and the views over to Stavanger are great. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Stavanger and hope to come back one day.

Wir haben leider eine regnerische Woche in Norwegen erwischt. Wir waren trotzdem wandern, golfen und angeln, aber waren auch viele Stunden in der Unterkunft und haben die Brandung aus dem Wohnzimmer durch die wunderschöne Fensterfront genossen. Das kann man wirklich nicht beschreiben.

I cannot emphasize enough how relaxing and splendid our experience was! We had an amazing time staying there for our honeymoon! The host and her husband were very kind, friendly, and hospitable. Even though we came during Christmas, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! They even set us up a Christmas tree in the cabin and provided home-made snacks. There was plenty of fire wood, so we stayed nice and warm. The beds were so soft! The back four beds could easily fit two people each, for those who are wondering. If you stay with them, I highly recommend renting the sauna paired with swimming in the fresh water lake! The eggs from the chickens are delicious! The sheep are friendly. It was the coziest, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We are so grateful to have been able to visit! It really made our honeymoon special. We hope to one day come back during the summer to see how the area differs, but we suspect it is spectacular at any point in the year.

Virkelig flot sted med adgang til lille strand, spabad og hyggelig udestue man kan nyde udsigten fra. Stort vindueparti i stue/køkken med udsigt over fjorden og bjerge. SÅ flot! Gåafstand til færge til Lysebotn, Flørli, etc. Rigtig god og flink vært der gav os gode anbefalinger til flotte ture med små børn og svarede på spørgsmål minutter efter vi skrev. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen en skønne dag 😍

Es war eine ganz tolle Zeit. Die Wohnung ist so wie beschrieben. Die Lage am Fjord bzw. eigentlich schon im Fjord ist absolut Herausragend. Der Joker Supermarkt direkt vor der Tür wo man einfach alles für das tägliche Leben bekommen kann ist einfach unbeschreiblich praktisch. Wer ein paar schöne Tage am Wasser/Fjord verbringen möchte ist hier genau richtig.

Das Gästehaus von Rune liegt mitten in der Marina von Forsand und ist von 3 Seiten mit Wasser umgeben. Unsere Wohnung im ersten Stock war sehr geräumig und bot einen einmaligen Blick auf den Fjord - direkt vom Sessel aus. Unserem Sohn gefiel der Schlafplatz unter dem Dach. Insgesamt blieben keine Wünsche offen. Rune war im Supermarkt gegenüber immer zu erreichen und gab uns Tipps zum wandern im Lysefjord. Als Ausgangspunkt für Touren ist Forsand sehr gut geeignet. Der Parkplatz Preikestolen ist 20min entfernt und mit der (6:00 Uhr) Fähre oder einem geliehenen Boot kommt man z.B. nach Flørli und Lysebotn.

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen. Man findet dort die Zeit zum abschalten. Ein tolles Haus und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Ohne Leihwagen wäre es schwierig gewesen, von dort hin und her zu kommen. Wir hatten eine tolles Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderschöne Lage!! Der Blick ist einfach traumhaft. Kleine, gemütliche, gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Der Wäscheständer ist leider defekt und im Badezimmer ein kleiner Mülleimer wäre toll, aber sonst gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche am Lysefjord.

What a great location and accommodation. We only stayed one night and would liked to have stayed longer. The view from the garden was lovely. As this was directly on the Fjord you could go swimming if you wanted ( perhaps in the summer though……) We used as a base to catch the return ferry to Lysebotn, which was well worth the trip. The various stops give you an opportunity to explore the area. We would definitely return here.

Spectacular place! The views are unreal being right on the water. The house is stunning on the inside and has great design. Very cozy. The out door spa, fire and kayaks were amazing. We would love to return.

Schönes Haus mit einer Traumhaften Aussicht. Es fehlte an nichts im Haus. Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Urlaub.

Wonderful location with fantastic view across the fjord. Very private and with a great, spacious garden. Few minutes walk to the water, went for a swim every morning. I was there with three families and the house was big enough to hold us. The communication with Ben was perfect, very friendly and proactive. I highly recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved our stay at Roberts place! He was so helpful and responsive, and even visited the house to answer some of our questions about the smart features of the home. The house is so beautiful, and the location is just dreamy. We had every comfort that we wanted. Felt like a short walk away is a number of things to see such as the Utstein Kloster. Cutest little area. Only about 30 minutes from the heart of Stavanger.
