Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Families looking to spend some quality time together can enjoy fantastic country walks or exploring nearby Caerlaverock Castle and wetlands. Furry friends are welcome too!

Shorepark - waterfront cottage with stunning views

Shorepark Holiday Cottage is a delightful waterside cottage with stunning views, overlooking the estuary of the River Nith on the edge of Glencaple village, within a National Scenic Area. The old part of the house was originally a fisherman’s cottage built in the 1700’s, with its original beams, and the open plan modern extension gives a stunning panoramic view of the river, the birdlife and the landscape beyond. It makes an ideal base for exploring beautiful Dumfries & Galloway.

Woodend Cottage Stylish, idyllic getaway

Woodend is a beautiful cottage set in a semi rural setting, with stunning aspects from all bedrooms and sitting room. Quiet and tranquil garden and patio area, perfect for enjoying a glass of bubbly and taking in the wonderful views and relaxing. The semi detached cottage is stylish and tastefully decorated. Part of the beauty of Woodend is even though you are surrounded by fields, it’s only a stroll into Dumfries town centre (20 mins). Prices inclusive of Airbnb 15% service fee.

'Courtyard Cottage' is situated in a courtyard - previously stables and tastefully converted to a high standard. Easy driving distance of the A74(M), with good rail & bus links. The cottage provides the ideal base to enjoy the many cultural and outdoor activities available in the area. Plenty of lovely walks, sailing, fishing, wild life and great night skies. Perfect to kick back and relax after a day of exploring the many attractions and scenery. parking is available.

Stunning cottage with riverside views

Located on the banks of the River Nith at Glencaple, the 100 year old cottage has been renovated to a high modern standard inside and out. Boasting a master bedroom with en-suite, and two twin rooms up stairs, a family bathroom, kitchen/diner and a family room with log-burner. Stunning views over the River with Criffell and Knockendoch in the background. Ideally located for your holiday whether relaxing, or going exploring around the region.

Branta Cottage

Fantastic views over the Nith Estuary, great for watching the wildfowl. Graded 3* by Visit Scotland, the cottage sits, not too far from Dumfries, in a rural location on the owner's dairy farm and has superb views over the upper reaches of the Nith Estuary on the Solway coast. The area is famed for its connections with Sir Peter Scott who created the wonderful wild fowl reserve at Caerlaverock for wintering geese and other birds.

Woodside Cottage, Clarencefield

A secluded cottage set between the small village of Clarencefield and the surrounding woods. A wonderfully peaceful and welcoming get away to recharge and embrace the surrounding nature. The area acts a gateway to Dumfries and Galloway, the UK's last undiscovered region. The cottage dates back to the 1700s and has undergone an extensive modernisation to make it a cozy retreat for up to 4 people at anytime of the year.

The Stables

The Stables is a quirky conversion on what was once a strawberry picking farm. Set within 30 acres of beautiful pastoral farmland the cottage is a peaceful rural retreat. A stones throw from some of Scotland's finest unspoiled and quiet beaches and within driving distance of all of the 7stanes mounting biking trails for those looking for a little more adventure.

Skiddaw Mire House

Skiddaw is perfect for romantic, cosy nights away and to explore the beautiful picturess mountains right outside your door! This takes Glamping to a new level. Head outside to the private dining area overlooking Blencathra which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or a soak in the hot tub reading a good book.

The Lily Pod

The Lily Pod is a self-contained holiday pod situated at our pond here at Lochhill Farm. It can sleep up to 4 people but more suited to two. The Pod has an open plan bedroom, living, dining and mini kitchen area and an enclosed shower room. Outside we have an open decking looking on to The Pond and stunning views further towards Criffel.
