Beautiful royal-village cottage with wood-burner

Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. Fordell loft is a cosy Scottish studio in the kingdom of Fife, surrounded by country veiws and walks. Free private parking beside loft in courtyard . Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

This bespoke house was built by our family to provide an escape from the city and it has been furnished to provide a comfortable home from home.
