The cabin itself is small & manageable and the cathedral ceiling, open floor plan, & numerous windows give it a light, open feel. My family originally stayed at Hidden Bay as renters and we liked it so much we bought it & kept the name! In the summer we have kayaks and in the winter we are less than a mile from Trail 8 and 8a. There are 7 restaurants within 13 miles, thousands of acres of water, millions of acres of woodlands, XC trails galore, 10 waterfalls in Iron Co, 7 ski hills within 90 minutes, or curl up in the newly remodeled cabin and unwind.

We fell in love with Hayward for the same reason so many people do: the lakes, the quiet, the slower pace, and how easy it is to feel connected to nature. The Cabin for Two sits at the end of a private road on a small wilderness lake, surrounded by county forest. Wildlife is part of daily life here. Loons call across the water, swans and other waterfowl pass through, and deer regularly move through the yard. In the warmer months, bears occasionally travel through the area.

Lakeside - Loon's Nest

Private two bedroom cabin on Long Lake. Being part of Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground, renting this cabin allows you full access to the resort amenities, including boat launch, docks, boat rental, playground area and much more. Four night minimum stay. Pets are allowed with a $30/pet/stay cleaning fee. This cabin is fully equipped to accommodate long stays with appliances and cookware, charcoal grill, firepit and TV. Linens/blankets are included.
