Black Bear Log Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Black Bear Log Cabin is a locally handcrafted Douglas Fir log cabin nestled in the trees on a private lot, located an easy 15 minute drive south of Golden BC. Situated within easy reach of several national parks, Golden is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise with world class skiing & sledding in the winter. Equally exhilarating are the many summer activities including hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, paragliding, tandem parachuting.

Magical Log Cabin on Tranquil 4 Acre Lot

Smiley Wolf Cabin is a magical log cabin on a beautifully landscaped 4 acre lot, just 7 km (4 miles) south of Golden and under 20 km (13 miles) from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Walk, snowshoe or xc ski right from the door and explore the trails and the Blaeberry River. Warm up beside the wood stove and enjoy the ambiance of the timber framed cabin. Located on a dead end road , you will enjoy the peaceful and quiet location.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Listen to the wolves howling right outside your window at the neighboring Wolf Center. Stay warm on those cold nights with the infloor heating and wood stove. This cozy little cabin is nestled in the beautiful Blaeberry valley, with great trails along the river's edge only a few minutes walk away.There is a full size shower and comfortable outhouse that has ample lighting that comes on automatically when it gets dark.

The Gondola is operational for 2026 Step out the back door of the Palliser, just a 45 second ski or slide to the resort base. Step out the front door to snowshoe trails or a 3min walk down to the general store, pub or Double Black Cafe. 15 minute drive to Golden's amenities and restaurants. Well appointed condo to come together in comfort at the end of an Epic day. Quiet dog is welcome provided it is not left alone in the suite or out on the deck.
