The Hut on the Brett

Our shepherd’s hut is situated in a private part of our garden on the banks of the River Brett in the historic village of Lavenham, a two-minute walk from the Market Place with its Medieval Guildhall and Little Hall, a 14th century hall house. Lavenham has much to offer with its listed buildings, independent shops, restaurants, pubs and two small but well-stocked supermarkets. Footpaths make it easy to access the surrounding countryside and enjoy views of the village and its magnificent church.

If you want privacy, beautiful open countryside, and to be close to Chelmsford City, then our spacious and tastefully furnished studio apartment is for you. We are just over 5 minutes’ drive from Newlands Hall wedding venue and Writtle University College, 15 minutes from the Reid Rooms and Highland Park House, and 6 miles from Chelmsford, with it's thriving city centre, main line train link to London, Anglia Ruskin University and Broomfield Hospital. Stansted Airport is 30 minutes drive away
