Above the Trail

Prefer short term stays of 28 days or less, but open to discussing a longer stay. The carriage house is private so that you feel separate from the main house. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood on the side of Eagle Ridge Mountain. You will be six kilometers from downtown Grand Forks, a short drive with lots of shopping. You can easily access to the Trans Canada Trail around the corner from the carriage house where you can hike, bike, ATV, cross-country ski; an outdoor enthusiast's dream!

Modern cabin on a sandy beach

This cabin was built in 2022, with the goal of connection in mind. We live in Fernie BC and have friends and family in Vancouver. It is a great meeting place in the middle. The cabin is inspired by New Zealand architecture as we have ties to NZ. We designed this home ourselves, from layout to furnishings and finishing. We hope you enjoy the aesthetics and comfort of the home as much as the gorgeous view.
