The Lake House at Rough River

Bring the whole family to this Lake front property with lots of room for fun! Enjoy the lake and swimming just steps from the screened in deck! Divided on three levels are 4 spacious bedrooms, 2.5 baths, open concept kitchen and living, 2 living areas, and 3 decks to enjoy. There are two sets of stairs inside the home and various sets outside the home. Please keep this in mind when booking! Rough River Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers waterway. The water level fluctuates with the season.

Summer is winding down and fall is approaching. Get your booking dates in while openings are available. Fall is the perfect camping season of the year. Cool nights and great bond fire weather. Come enjoy our 20 acres backed up to the redline. With creeks and waterfalls a few steps away. With the high water levels in the spring the access trail is still open but the shore line isn’t suitable for kayaks at this time. We still will rent them out for guests but wanted to make aware the conditions.

This house provides a spacious area for relaxation and fun! There is a beautiful view of Rough River Lake from the very large back deck. There is also a small upper deck that connects to the upstairs bedroom. The upper level of the house consists of two bedrooms (one a queen bed and the other a bunkbed) and a large bathroom. The lower level has three bedrooms (one queen and two full beds), the dining room, kitchen, living room, and bathroom/laundry room. Plenty of room for family and friends!

Mammoth Cave - Nolin Lake

Escape to a private retreat at beautiful Nolin Lake. This home offers 3 bedrooms and a large loft area with a bunk bed. Enjoy coffee or a game of corn hole on the huge wrap around deck. Mammoth Cave National Park is 10 miles away (visitor center is further), Nolin Lake State Park is 7.5 miles away, Dog Creek marina is 4 miles away, Blue Holler off road park is 7 miles. Our beautiful custom waterfront cabin is a perfect getaway for couples and small families. We are located on Mercer Creek Cove. The cabin is very relaxing and private. There is a boat ramp in the subdivision for your use. All bedding and bath towels are included. Kitchen is fully equipped, direct tv on 3 large flat screen TVs. Gas grill we provide the propane, custom built in bonfire pit just steps from the water. Hot tub that overlooks the Cove, private outdoor shower. We now have WIFI!
