Fries is adjacent to the New River and New River Trail. The river and trail are a few blocks from the cottage- within walking distance. The river is a popular place for tubing, kayaking, and fishing! The New River Trail has 57 miles of great hiking and biking. The outdoor hot tub awaits when you return from a day of outdoor fun!

Beautiful meadows, forest, springs, creek and pond. Pet friendly. We love doggy visitors! Hike all over the farm, nearly 200 acres, and surrounding area. Enjoy the fire pit. Have a really large group? Add Sunrise Cottage and Meadows, also on the farm. Or Middleside Farmhouse, likewise on the farm.

You can enjoy morning or evening walks around the hay field or with a short drive get to the river or new river trail for some outdoor activities!
