Karingal Cabin Retreat

This secluded cabin is the perfect retreat for a single, couple, or a family looking to 'switch off' from the daily grind. There is a grassed camping area right next to the cabin for the kids to sleep in tents, while mum and dad can relax comfortably in Karingal Cabin. Kids stay free when you bring your own tents. We are 5 mins drive from the tourist & fishing village of Yeppoon. We are 190 metres above sea level and boast views north towards the Byfield Ranges and East over the Keppel Isles.

Welcome to our private rainforest guesthouse. Nestled atop a hill in the rainforest. Wildlife surrounds with peacocks, bush turkeys, scrub fowl, eagles and other native animals. The totally private guesthouse is near new and part of our National Award Winning Sustainable property, designed by the host. Please note: Not suitable for 4 adults. See rules. 20 minutes drive to the CBD and Airport. Close to northern Beaches, James Cook University, 20 mins to Kuranda and 40 mins to Port Douglas.

Tropical Bliss

Local cafes and restaurants only a 5 min walk, 10min walk to the botanical gardens, bus stop is around the corner and the CBD is only 12mins by car. The studio is spacious, light and airey. Once inside, views to the pool which is are surrounded by tropical gardens. In the pool area there is a large sunbed for relaxing, morning coffee or a quiet sundowner. quiet and you will have a real local experience. It offers your own BBQ for cooking it has only a kitchenette with microwave and air fryer.

The Garden Shed

Once a 1950's built carport, now a cosy cabin within a garden. It's unique, it's artistic, it oozes creativity and it was built almost entirely by us. The main room features a comfortable queen bed, a Smart TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, and a few other appliances. Through the french doors your find a small outdoor cooking station, sink and a bar. A few metres further into the heart of the garden you have your own cute little pergola with a table for two.

Set on 40 Private acres, "The Birdsnest" is our modern air-cond smaller cabin. It is open plan living/bedroom with q/size bed and sofa that converts to double bed for extra guests. Seperate bathroom and undercover large deck with stunning rural views. Private river safe swimming hole. Free wifi, flat screen TV. We do have 2 other cabins on the property to accommodate larger families or groups. 7mins from Paronella Park. Due to Covid 19 we are no longer providing breakfast.
