Our back to nature Hideaway is a quiet and secure retreat for couples of all ages. It's situated inside our large private gated garden(no steps) Relax with a drink on the patio whilst taking in the amazing garden, wildlife and spectacular woodland setting. Country walks. Autumn colours. A pretty walk to the Castle, 2 pubs, tea room and 3 all weather tennis courts in the village Small child's bed available(see photo) Dog friendly. The Globe’s Flat

The Globe is a CAMRA Award winning, wet sales only, real ale & live music pub in the the medieval wool town of Clare. The flat is directly above & has it's own front door to stairs leading to kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster, bathroom with power shower, sitting room & 2 connected bedrooms. Dogs are welcome, but must be pre-booked. Expect noise from the pub whilst open! We shut by 11pm every day except Sunday when we have live music from 2pm - 5pm, then shut at 7pm.

Alternatively, there is boating on the nearby river Stour, or just enjoying a drink at one of the country pubs along its route.
