Our island rests in Sawyer Harbor surrounded by Potawatomi State Park and Idlewild Peninsula. This is a nature lovers haven. It is the perfect place for those that are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and up for a bit of adventure. The wooded island is seven acres and home to two cottages—Sunrise (facing Potawatomi, “the emerald wall” as Grandpa Paul fondly named the view) and Sunset (overlooking the Idlewild Peninsula). The cottages are connected by a well traveled path and a short walk.

Welcome to our cabin on Lake Michigan. Our cabin sits near the end of a dead end road and is very peaceful and quiet. At the end of the road is a historic county park. The cabin sleeps up to 8 guests and has all the amenities of home! Relax on the deck, take the kayaks for a spin, enjoy a fire indoors or out, or ride our bikes. Play games late into the night. Grandview Farm Cottage is a circa 1920s newly renovated, 420 sq. ft. private guesthouse on the grounds of a 2.5 acre Door County property built in the late 1800s. Enjoy nature, wildlife, your own organically grown gardens, and dark starry night skies, while being only 3 miles to nightlife and shopping and beaches and parks.
