Ivy Cottage in North Yorkshire Moors

Newly renovated cozy stone cottage with fabulous views in Egton village on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Two local pubs. Great for walkers, with the coast to coast trail at Egton Bridge, and numerous moor walks nearby. A 10 minute drive to the coastal town of Whitby. A 15 minute drive from a number of beautiful beaches and cliff walks. Well behaved dogs (and owners) welcome Wi-Fi provided. Open staircase and internal steps. No under 16s. Friday is our cleaning and changeover day.

Serendipity

Serendipity is one of three hand crafted wooden Shepherds Cabins, located on a working farm in the heart of Dalby Forest. (Also please see Serenity and Dahlia Cabins on separate listings.) We're ideally situated just off the popular cycle routes and activity centres. The cozy en-suite cabin features a comfortable king size bed, mini fridge, heating, access to a gas BBQ and continental breakfast. This luxurious cabin offers wonderful panoramic views in a tranquil setting. The perfect escape!

Secret Garden Hideaway at Summer Hills Whitby

Secret Garden Hideaway occupies one of the most secret locations in the Centre of Whitby at Summer Hills, with a private garden accessed from the St Hildas Terrace behind a stone wall at the top of Flowergate it has guests returning to this wonderful location. Kitchen (kettle, toaster, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer) hair dryer, TV, DVD, shower/jacuzzi bath, towels, wifi, bed linen, iron, 1 double bed & a sofa bed downstairs, 2 twin beds & single bed upstairs. Parking directly outside.

Keepers Cottage Egton Bridge

Keepers Cottage is part of the Old Mill, and is a highly commended cottage located at Egton Bridge, which is a North York Moors National Park conservation area, on the coast to coast path near to the coastal town of Whitby and ideal for exploring the moors, the Yorkshire Coast, including Scarborough, Bridlington, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay. In addition Malton, Pickering and the City of York. North York Moors is officially designated as Dark Skies Reserve right on our door step.

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

The Highlander

Sandsend Beach is only four miles away and Runswick Bay three which offer some great local dining treats. Whitby is the local town approx a fifteen minutes drive. Set in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, on the outskirts of the charming village of Lealholm. 2 Hilltop Cottage is a characterful, rural retreat, ideal for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Lealholm (approx 1 mile away) offers a village shop, pub, cafe and train station. Places to visit nearby include: Whitby, Runswick Bay (Britains best beach 2020), Dalby Forrest with miles of cycle routes and Grosmont the home of the North Yorkshire Moors railway.

Birch House Farm

Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.

The Tree House

The Tree House is a lovely detached property that has recently been converted. It has a cosy welcoming feel to it, positioned in a wonderful location in the North Yorkshire Moors in the peaceful, tranquil village of Grosmont. Outside the property is an ajoining decking area which has spectacular views over the moors and the local steam railway. A paradise for walkers and train lovers, perfect for relaxing and unwinding on a summers evening. There are ducks and chickens on the driveway.

Crumbleclive Cabin

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway to recharge the batteries!

Kimberlina Carriage Ravenscar

The Kimberlina is a cosy, custom built, carriage located in Ravenscar, a beautiful coastal village situated on the Jurassic Coast National Park. The carriage is nestled in a field to the back of a working farm, surrounded by fantastic views and natural beauty, it is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or relaxing evening following a days walk along the Cleveland Way. Children are welcome at the carriage and additional sleeping is available on the day bed in the living area.

The Cake Store

Enjoy this spacious and newly converted barn with beautiful original old beams located a few minutes walk from the scenic village of Lealholm and an ideal place to stay if you are a wedding guest at either Danby Castle or Egton Manor. On the ground floor is a large open plan living room with kitchen leading to the bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. A bespoke glass and oak staircase leads to a mezzanine with comfortable sofa and views across to the Esk Valley.
