The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Take some time for yourself and enjoy the treehouse, you will marvel at nature, you will be surrounded by beautiful birds of different types, explore the place just 10 minutes from Santos Trailhead and 35 from Rainbow Springs. After you finish visiting Ocala and seeing its incredible recreational areas, enjoy our hot tub with hydro massage, relax in our hanging mesh, gather around the fire pit and make s'mores. Our Treehouse promises the perfect blend of nature's tranquility and modern comfort!

The Rustic Bear Cabin, Springs, 1.16 acre, firepit

The Rustic Bear Cabin is located in Crystal River on 1.16 acre, surrounded by woods & close to the Springs. Very cozy and relaxing. Drink your coffee on the porch, listen to the birds, hang out in the hammock or by the firepit, spy on deers, play with our rustic barrel arcade game, some pingpong, cornhole or dartboard. Country setting, FREE use of the Kayaks and golf cart, or take the kayaks to Rainbow River, my place is on the “Withlacoochee River” so you would put in at the neighborhood ramp and paddle North to get to the Rainbow River. The KP Hole and Rainbow Springs State Park are 10-15 min away. You can bring your own boat, “there is a boat ramp in the neighborhood”, and local ramps in town. Relax by the fire in the evening. Peaceful, quiet and only 10 minutes from town for shopping and dining.
