Beautiful home! Spacious and clean, perfect for my group of 5. The plentiful decor was tasteful and living room is cozy with large couch. Location was quiet and private, conveniently near a Bonus, and close to major highways. The space is well stocked: Whether you need laundry related products, extra pasta sauce, quality coffee machine, etc you can find it. Would highly recommend for a cozy stay, truly like a home away from home.

We had a lovely stay. Tinna was very helpful and the place was perfect. Very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed and some additional small touches which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Nice, spacious house matching perfectly matching the description and photos. Worked perfectly for four adults and four kids. Football pitch and playground by the school just a few metres from the house. And a trampoline in the garden. Easy and quick communication with David. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location!! Close and easy to all highways, 20 minutes to city and 20 minutes from KEF airport. Very quiet. The house had plenty of towels and linens and was very clean. This is owner's home, and she rents it out when she is out of town. It had 3 bedrooms and a fourth was a room partitioned off in the back of the large living room. There was also an oversized couch someone could sleep on. Plenty of comfortable and separate sleeping options. Would stay here again. Thanks

Una was an excellent host, she always responded to our communications promptly. Checking in was a breeze no hassles, her instructions were clear and accurate. Location was absolutely perfect close to everything including shops, groceries, restaurants and bars. The house was truly charming cozy and very very clean. It was very comfortable and relaxing staying there. I would definitely consider staying there if I visited Reykjavík again in future.

We loved our stay! The house is just as pictured and perfectly located. Silla was lovely and quick to respond to any question we had. The home was equipped with anything you could possibly need, wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

If you are looking for a comfortable, affordable stay in Reykjavik, this is the place for you. Great amenities including a large back yard, large living space with a Smart TV and playstation, and a fireplace. Kitchen with everything needed to cook for yourself and avoid the pricey Reykjavik Restaurant scene. Located on a quiet street with easy access to the highway (rental car recommended for sure).

Magnea’s apartment was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, warm and very well appointed. The apartment decor is not only comfortable but so cute and thoughtful. I loved all the local touches. And the location can’t be beat!! Right across from the sea with fantastic views. Great for relaxing and watching the world go by, which was my entire agenda. I also found it easy to walk to the small grocery store for food as well as the bus stop to ride into Reykjavik - take the #55 to the #1, and then voila! Magnea was very responsive and helpful - a perfect host. I would definitely stay here again!!

We had a great stay and highly recommended. The home was perfect for our family of 3. Hosts responded to all our questions and beds were comfy!!! Not a negative at all but if you are a light sleeper, like I am, bring ear plugs. Slightest of road noise from highway in the distance but not a deal breaker by any means. We LOVED OUR STAY!!

Helena's place has been wonderful, really. We walked through Klambatrún Park up to the old town and to the nearby bus station close to the Central Bus station BSI where all the tourist tours started . Helena's apartment was a wonderful starting point for our tours to the eruption site, another one to the lava tunnel, to Sky Lagoon and Hvammsvik. We were able to walk to the museums, the harbour and the shopping streets. Most of all, we were able to relax and regenerate at Helena's place, we slept really well. Her home really is cozy with nice furniture to eat or work at the large table or to chill on the couch. It was also quiet in the house and the neighborhood. Communication with Helena was welcoming, warm, understanding and flexible. Helena is an easy and excellent host! 5 stars for Helena's cozy and beautiful place in Reykjavik. We loved it and highly recommend it and hope to be back soon!

We loved our stay. Hosts were quick and helpful in their responses. They left us some chocolates and champagne for our anniversary. The space was clean and more spacious than we originally thought, private and we felt right at home. My wife was sad we left! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Two adults and one child vacationing in this valley of paradise not far from Reykjavik! The setup was ideal and we all felt right at home. It was so comfortable, warm and we loved the added bonus of the hot tub!! We had a car rental and did our own touring of the southwest including the golden circle of our own. Highly recommend this lovely cabin!!

What’s an absolutely beautiful family home . We felt right at home here . so much that I didn’t want to come back home to England :( very spacious decorated lovely . It was the middle of winter and it was extremely warm for us as well. It was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations and lots of treats left for us . Thankyou nothing was a problem . looked after the family Cat who was absolutely delightful And no trouble at all . Very close to everything supermarket round the corner, got everywhere very easy was really sad to leave. Would definitely love to come back one day. Thankyou so much xxx

Wir hatten eine so schöne Zeit in Haukurs Unterkunft. Die Hütte ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht, sehr gemütlich und traumhaft ruhig gelegen mitten in der Natur. Der Blick auf den See, der Kamin und der Hot Tub waren unser Highlight. Perfekt um so richtig zu entspannen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Puravida. The surroundings were spectacular and the house was excellently appointed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment to prepare a decent meal and the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge were an added luxury. Our kids enjoyed the play equipment in the garden and the playground at the bottom of the hill. The location, although remote, was perfect for us as we love being off the beaten track. It’s easily accessible back to more built up areas. I would highly recommend Lukas and his property!

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

This was the best place we have ever stayed as a family. Sigurdurs place is beautiful with the most stunning view. The house is spacious and very warm and cosy. It is absolute heaven, the perfect escape to the countryside with a chance of seeing the northern lights over the lake. I would definitely recommend Sigurdur’s place to everyone. We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even allowing us to check in super early. The house was spotless, and the host provided us with all the details about local events, making our visit even more enjoyable. Just a heads up—this is someone's home, so there were a couple of rooms with kids' toys that we had to keep an eye on to make sure our little ones didn't wander in. It wasn't an issue for us, but it's something to be mindful of if you're traveling with children. Overall, a perfect listing and we loved our time here!
