This was a great opportunity for me and my siblings to remember the time when our parents had a cottage at Conesus Lake. I was only 2 so I enjoyed hearing their stories. It was great to connect and what a fantastic atmosphere! The weather was a little cloudy and rainy but when the sun came out it was beautiful. Inside the cottage was very welcoming and comfy too. The neighbors were kind too!

Amazing location and gathering spaces for dinner inside or out. We had a great time when the weather cooperated with the water toys. Bunk house was beautifully renovated and nice bathroom. Main house upstairs bedrooms were small - xtra bed outside those rooms for when you need to kick someone out for snoring so all good! Thanks for a great stay with friends!

Such a beautiful place! Mary and Mark have a lovely home and the inside was super clean and exactly as described. The location was great and Mary provided a list of amazing local recommendations. They were so quick to respond and very kind. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Great people running this place, who really want to see that you enjoy your stay. They've got tips for you, provide plenty to get you situated and give you access to a large plot of land to live pretty freely on during your stay. The pond is fantastic for swimming and searching for frogs (come back by the pond with a headlamp after the sun goes down), and the tent was perfect. Very comfy mattress and blankets as well. I'll without a doubt be back, and I'll be bringing some folks with me. This place is awesome

I rented this for my mother’s 80th birthday. It was perfect for her and her husband. Lake views amazing, perfect size home and fully equipped with everything one would have at their own home! House was quaint, personable and a feeling of comfort and relaxation. Beautiful deck overlooking Lake Ontario, beautiful well maintained yard. The privacy was another great bonus!! Would rent this again. Instructions were on point! Everything was perfect!! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven!!

It was a great place to stay with friends and family. The view is stunning, and the sound of the lake water brings a sense of peace to your mind. I will definitely try to go back and enjoy.

Every corner of the place felt warm and welcoming, but what truly made our experience special was the host’s incredible kindness and hospitality. We felt genuinely cared for and completely at home. This place was incredible! My group and I had a exquisite time at the lake house. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for this type of stay. You aren't far from town where they have a few great places to eat as well.

We had an amazing time as always at this Airbnb. The house is so accommodating and I like that they keep it stocked better than other airbnbs with stuff like plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, spices, trash bags/laundry pods/dishwasher pods, plenty of linens and extra blankets. Lindsay is a very nice host who is always responsive, and helpful with any questions you might have.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time. After spending busy days in downtown Rochester it was such an easy commute to the lake. It was a gift to arrive and all we had to do was settle in such a cozy and inviting home. Water, snacks, coffee, games were a nice touch too. We are looking forward to stay again in the future. I really enjoyed starting the day with the daily devotional books watching the sun rise over Lake Ontario! It’s truly a spiritual retreat and a treat to stay here.

We were enchanted by Dans lake house. And found it worth every penny. The bed is comfortable, heater works great and the scene is very laid back. The hotels in the area seem to be of the same roadhouse quality, and we are very happy that the cottage was exactly as described. If one is to pay for a hotel it only makes sense to give to an individual instead of a thankless corporation. It is now on our list and we plan on utilizing his chefs table service in the future. Comfortable home in a GORGEOUS spot! This was our first visit to the finger lakes, and Jess’s spot was perfect. We loved sitting on the dock and taking in the views. Plenty of space, and really comfortable- especially with so many outdoor sitting areas. It was a perfect place!

Can’t say enough about how wonderful this home is. Bigger than I expected. Very clean and large open rooms. Lakeside with gorgeous views. Unfortunately it rained while we were there but the home was so comfortable we enjoyed our time with friends. Definitely more than enough space for our group of 8. Also plenty of parking spaces. I would absolutely stay here again!

It was the perfect place for a girls trip! Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We were lucky enough to have a view of the Northern Lights the first night there. Wood was supplied for a campfire and they had a puzzle for us to do on a rainy day. The Finger Lakes are my happy place and this home made my heart sing!🫶

As described- nice place on the water great for a nice quiet getaway. I would definitely go back. Amenities are super close by and the grill and fire pit are huge adds for an awesome weekend. Some parts of the house are starting to show age a bit and some simple upgrades like bathroom doorknobs could go a long way, but the place is definitely charming and quaint!

We had a wonderful stay! The bed was super comfortable, which made for great nights of sleep, and the showers had excellent water pressure—always a plus. The view of the lake from the property was beautiful. We also really appreciated that the place was dog-friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Anne’s place was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. It was plenty big and had a great kitchen area to cook in. There were plenty of places for family to hang out and plenty of bathrooms and beds. We had a great time! Thanks Anne!

Our whole family had a wonderful time on the lake. The house is so spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. The water is so nice to swim in with a fabulous sandy bottom all the way out. Lou went well out of his way to make our stay special. Just can’t say enough good!
