On the edge of our family homestead overlooking meadow & forest, this tiny house offers a quiet, cozy refuge only 45 minutes from Acadia National Park. There's a twin day bed on the ground floor & a double futon in the loft. Tiny kitchen & bathroom with shower (2 temps: hot or cold) too. A heat pump keeps the place toasty warm or nice and cool. Our family's gazebo, grill, fire pit, hammock, trails & garden are shared with guests. A beautiful beach across the bay from Acadia is down the road.

Nestled on rolling fields that lead to the ocean's edge is a serene oasis with modern full bathroom, eat in kitchen, living room (double pull-out sofa bed) & loft (queen bed). Birds & wildlife frequent this oceanside respite. Enjoy the blueberries (in season) that grow wild on the property & fresh coastal air from the spacious deck. Bring a canoe, paddle board, kayak or wind surfer & explore the cove. Day trips include Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park & Campobello Island, Canada.

Between Bar Harbor and Seal Harbor, 10 minutes by car to both and just 5 minutes by car to the Otter Cliff entrance to Acadia Park Loop Road. Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

Enjoy your morning coffee sitting in the breakfast nook or on the covered deck overlooking the bay while watching the sea birds and seals or possibly seeing the deer roaming the property. Summer months, you can watch the lobstermen busy hauling the days catch at a short distance.
