Recently converted from what was once a large well known rural Bank, The Counting House offers spacious, fully equipped and luxuriously furnished accommodation for up to four adults or family of four plus baby. Luxury bed linnen and towels plus wifi are provided. The Counting House is a lovely place to stay whilst exploring Northumbria and the Borders, Belford is a lovely quiet country village. Close to the coast and in the country there are many places to visit and lovely walks.

Lovely 18th Century cottage. Family weekend retreat for 40 years. Warm, comfortable, peaceful. On Pennine Way and C2C cycle route. Walker's paradise. WIFI + smart TV with Freeview Access by steep track, unsuitable for wheelchair. 5 minutes to village shop. 4 miles Alston for supermarkets, antiques, wholefood shop, petrol, pharmacy, steam railway. Hadrian's Wall 1 hour, Northern Lakes 60 minutes, Newcastle 90 mins, Manchester 150 mins. The most relaxing place we know.

If, like us, you enjoy countryside and coast then Charlie's Place could be the perfect place for you. Our pretty, traditional Northumberland cottage is in the historic village of Belford. The Northumberland Way is on our doorstep and beaches and castles galore are only a few minutes drive away. Sea Glass Cottage is a beachfront holiday home with views over the dunes to the Solway Firth and Scotland beyond. Our guests tell us that the sunset views from the conservatory are breathtaking. The cottage has been tastefully updated and decorated by the owners with all amenities for modern living but retaining a quirky, seaside charm. Sleeps 5 plus a baby, no smoking, WiFi, dog-friendly. We charge £25 per dog.
