Peaceful and cozy, this one bed, one bath cabin sits on the edge of the woods on our private lake. Adjacent to state land between Midland and Mt Pleasant, our cabin offers a convenient, private, and peaceful getaway from the day's events. Unplug and take a walk along the lake, enjoy some fishing, paddleboarding, or a bonfire before turning in for the night. Enjoy a lake view from the main bedroom. Close the doors to the living room to create a second private sleeping area on the fold out couch.

Built in 1867, the Averill Block is consider the oldest continuous use commercial building in the State of Michigan as well as the oldest building in downtown Bay City. The 12 ft ceilings and 8 foot tall windows allow for a light and airy feel. Located steps away from everything in downtown Bay City, you can simply park your car for the weekend and walk to everything. It is directly above local diners and cafes, and is a hop, skip, and a jump from the marketplace and the hospitals. It is also close driving distance from the Children's Zoo, the Dow Event Center, and other attractions!

Sleeps 1 person or 1 couple (1 bed). There is a TV. (Roku streaming) The stairs up to the apartment are steep and narrow. If you have mobility challenges climbing stairs, another location to stay could be worth considering. The bed in the apt is a standard full size bed - not a queen or king.

Tittabawassee River is a short jot down the road. Feel free to use the kayaks I provide. Enjoy coffee on the deck while watching the turkeys & deer. Enjoy yard games and the bonfire pit. Grill out using the gas grill provided. The Tridge and Dow Gardens are 5 miles away. Feel free to soak it all in :)

This is a fully furnished open floor plan efficiency located on 40 acres of farmland. There is a generator to assure power in case of a power outage. It is equipped with HD premium Dish,Wi Fi, and a full kitchen with all appliances & housewares. A well provides the water, and is a very good quality. The hot water is on demand. It is located next to a pond and fire pit. It is not suitable for children under twelve years of age and maximum occupancy is two.
