Lake Front Retreat & Water Sports

The downstairs apartment is available for AirBnB guests. Our home is on the lake in the Foothills of NC with water sports in our back yard. Great atmosphere, views, lake, and R&R. The apartment includes one bedroom (1 king size bed, 1 queen foam mattress), a living room, an entertainment area with pool table and darts. It also has a full private bath. The apartment steps out onto a private lower deck overlooking the lake. Our place is good for couples, adventurers, business people, and families.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

Quiet Studio Apartment, Private 1 BR on our Farm

Welcome to our quiet & cozy studio apartment located in our basement. You have your own driveway, entrance, and a private space that locks separately so you can relax. The studio is about 800 square feet, giving you plenty of room during your stay. Our location is close to Hickory, Morganton, with easy drives to Lake James, Table Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, and Charlotte. The best part is the peaceful setting on our 70-acre farm where you’re free to explore and enjoy the countryside.

Nestle into your own corner of our 8 acres. Kick back in a forest setting while leaving the rest behind. Wander the nature path. Sit on the screened in porch or by the crackling firepit, take a shower outdoors or soak in the roomy spa. Rural foothills living in Western NC, convenient to Hickory, Morganton, Valdese & Lenoir. Great parks & lakes to explore. (Boat launch is 4 miles away). Check out a local winery/brewery. The Blue Ridge parkway is a short drive & absolutely breathtaking.

Escape to a quiet neighborhood with incredible lakefront views. This 3-story home has been completely renovated from top to bottom and has all new furnishings. It offers all the conveniences of home including kitchen equipment and utensils, WIFI and a washer & dryer. Sit and rock on the front deck or lounge in the hammock. 15-20 mins to shopping and downtown Hickory. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 living areas. Theater seating downstairs with surround sound. No smoking. No pets.

The 2-1-3 house

The 2-1-3 house is a charming 1950's bungalow right in the heart of hickory, just minutes from downtown, Lenoir Rhyne college, and many other corporate offices. Coffee houses, restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy and dry cleaning are all within walking distance. The 215 is pet friendly, however we REQUIRE a $20 pet fee, per pet ,also no more than 2 pets allowed. Animals can be no larger than 40 lbs. When you book please select the amount of guest including the pet/pets as guest.

MENZIES LOUNGE

We live in historic downtown Hickory. You will have your own private space located in the back of our home. It is a studio with a kitchenette. No stove/oven and only a beverage fridge. Adjoining your studio is an un air conditioned game room with pool table/ping pong and workout equipment. We have an outdoor shared space with a grill and fireplace. We also have a super cute golden doodle named Louis, who might be inside the fenced area. Please keep all fence gates locked.

Mimzy’s Garden Retreat | Peaceful & Private

Mimzy's Garden is privately tucked away right off of Hwy 127. Perfectly located to Downtown Hickory, Lenoir Rhyne University, Metro Convention center as well as Frye and Catawba hospitals. Restaurants and shopping are all within a 5 minute drive. Perfect place to stay for local wedding events as well as just a quick get away to visit with family. Enjoy your own secret garden in the backyard while relaxing with a book or while working, indulging in the sounds of nature.

Lakefront Serenity

Our comfortable one bedroom apartment is centrally located near downtown Hickory, yet sits quietly on the main channel of Lake Hickory. Enjoy fishing, swimming, or relaxing from the dock. You are welcome to bring your own boat/jet ski and secure it to our dock. Relax and enjoy watching wildlife from your private deck. Hickory’s new River Walk (which winds through the woods)is directly across the lake. Charlotte, Asheville, and Boone are within one hour of the property.
