Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. It is a wonderful experience to stay in our beautiful home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by vast ranch lands. Viewing wildlife and observing nature is a favorite pastime for our guests and the wildlife is everywhere, from birds in the sky and in the water to many elk, deer and other mammals abound. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.
