Had an amazing experience at the property. Beautiful terrace next to the rooms providing a very good view of the forest. The place is very close to main Shimla however still offers peace and quiet as well. Well kept residence and assistance available at all times. Asheesh personally took care of our itinerary and recommended places as well. Would love to visit again during snow fall time as well. No difficulties in parking as well which is a great to have in Shimla. Overall pretty happy with the experience.

It’s a home away from home. Tastefully maintained property, great for 4 to 5 people. Close to the mall road, you could either walk for 25-30 mins or, take a 5 minute bus ride to reach the lift and another 5 minutes through the lift to reach there. Plus, Saurav is a thorough gentleman, a polite and responsive host. He makes sure the guests are always at ease. For instance, we faced a minor hiccup during our stay, however Saurav’s proactiveness in helping resolve really stood out. It’ll be a no-brainer to book this property again whenever I am in Shimla. 🙂

This was our second time here after 3 yrs and Hem Sir, Reena Mam, and their adorable kids welcomed us with same love and warmth like before! The accommodation is perfect for families or small groups, with ample space and beautiful views. Sir & Mam are exceptional hosts, providing delicious home-cooked food , prompt service, and a comforting presence. They're always available to help, making you feel at home. Shimla holds a special place in our hearts, and this place is a big reason why. The beauty, peace, and serenity of this location make it a perfect getaway from city life. The views from the room and terrace are stunning. The place is located in a serene area, yet everything you need is accessible. The locals lead a slow and peaceful life, making you feel welcome. The Villa is an amazing hidden treasure, with all modern amenities. The view uphill is mesmerizing and the well maintained garden is just something one looks forward to in a overcrowded town. Parking lot in garage was and added plus.The breakfast & dinner was just sumptuous.Value for money. Sure to book it again.

Have visited this place multiple times now! Lacasa is as beautiful as it looks in the photographs. If you really want to be away from the city life, this is the best place you can be at! There are a couple of nearby hikes which you can take to reach some beautiful spots, (one of the best sunsets I’ve seen), and you can do stargazing at night. The food is like best of both worlds, you get restaurant level food but with a homely touch! 100% recommended this property to everyone!!

Vatu Kutir is 6/5 stars. Sir( host) comes with a 1 plus 1 super combination with Ma'am and their support staff. One gets more than just a place to stay . I got to see a fresh perspective to life and ofcourse fresh mangoes and pears also😋 Otherwise place , location and connectivity is also great.
