High-End Apartment in Georgian Building by Holyrood Park

Sit back and relax on the luxurious leather sofa after a long day exploring Edinburgh. Cook up a feast in the fully equipped kitchen. Indulge in the powerful waterfall shower. Finally, sleep tight on the soft mattress complete with crisp white linen. In this high-end apartment every detail has being designed for a comfortable stay. Our perfectly located apartment has been renovated to a truly luxury standard - designed from the ground up for your comfort with everything you need to relax and unwind after a long day exploring the nearby sights. There are beautiful real oak wooden floors throughout the living spaces and a sumptuous carpet in the double bedroom. As you enter the apartment you will immediately notice the attention to detail with no expense spared during the recent renovation (May 2019). We know you're here to sleep so to ensure you get a great nights sleep you'll be laying your head on the worlds most comfortable mattress complete with crisp white 5 star hotel quality linen and towels. There is of course storage space to hang clothes along with a desk, mirror and chair. The living space and kitchen are open plan - with a soft real leather sofa and 4K TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime installed and of course super fast Wi-Fi. The large breakfast bar doubles up as work space with a power supply. Across the breakfast bar is a fully equipped kitchen with an full-size oven, induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and everything you need to cook up a feast. There is also a fridge with small freezer compartment. The tasteful bathroom is another highlight with a walk-in waterfall shower, large mirror and a heated towel rail. You are renting the entire apartment. Ben and Ollie are available via phone 24/7. Have Her Majesty the Queen as a neighbour, when she is in residence at Holyrood Palace next door. Step straight into Holyrood Park and climb the famous Arthur's Seat right from the front door. Wander easily from this perfectly situated apartment at the foot of the Royal Mile up to Edinburgh Castle, with cafes, restaurants and gift shops all en route. Edinburgh is not a large city - and the central location of our apartment, means that if you wish you can walk everywhere. /Walking Walking times depend on how much of a contemplative soul you are, but as guidance a walk from our flat to Waverley Station, the main train station, can take you as little as 15 minutes and The Royal Mile is only 5 minutes away. The beautiful and iconic Holyrood Park, where Arthur's Seat is located, is literally seconds away! Bus/ Edinburgh also has fantastic bus service and the flat is well placed, with numerous bus services running from within a couple of minutes walk of our apartment. Single fares cost £1.70 (no change given) but if you’re using the bus on more than two journeys then a Day ticket or a Day & night ticket may be more suitable. It’s also possible to buy a one-week or four-week bus pass (ridacard) For more information on routes and timetables go to Transport for Edinburgh or download The Transport for Edinburgh smartphone travel app which has lots of information to help you plan your journey. /Uber Most the locals, myself included, tend to use Uber as their go to taxi service around the city. It works out much cheaper than a black cab style of taxi. /Trams There is also a tram line running directly from the centre to and from Edinburgh Airport. There are various ticketing options which work across both tram and bus. Timetable information can be found at Transport for Edinburgh, and also on the the Transport for Edinburgh smartphone travel app. /Taxis There are a variety of taxi ranks dotted around central Edinburgh. Look for the unmistakable black cabs: an orange light on top means the taxi is available for hire. /Rickshaws Edinburgh at peak times wouldn’t be Edinburgh without the athletic rickshaw drivers who cycle around the city. It’s one of those unmissable experiences but remember to always agree the price of your fare in advance. /Cars If you are bringing your own car please beware that although parking outside the apartment is free, Edinburgh has limited parking and strict restrictions in place. In the city centre the vast majority of parking is pay and display – always check the instructions on the meter and carry plenty of coins with you or register with RingGo and pay via a payment card.

Historic Georgian Flat with Community Garden

It's filled with light and spacious for a one bedroom apartment. It's filled with fun things that I have collected over the years, so it comes with bags of my personality! It's quiet - especially the bedroom which is located at the rear. I like cooking, so the kitchen is well-equipped. Bring your tunes - there is a nice Sony bluetooth speaker to connect with! Access all areas - I keep the cellar and a filing cabinet in the bedroom locked for my own bits and pieces though. On arrival, I prefer to meet my guests in person to get you settled and share my local recommendations that fit with your plans and timing. New Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and carefully protected from new development. It supports a lovely mix of residential property and boutique retailing, including tons of coffee shops, private galleries, restaurants, and interior design shops. Bus stop round the corner and tram stop 5 minutes away at St Andrews Square. 10 minutes walk to the main railway station, Edinburgh Castle and the very heart of Edinburgh. Taxi rank 5 minutes walk down Dundas Street and taxis usually available on the street too. Please note my TV works via the internet so you can view BBC iPlayer/Netflix/Amazon content only. The bed is a standard double i.e. 4 feet 6 inches wide and 6 feet 3 inches long (137 x 190 cm). The bed will be made up ready for your arrival including 4 feather pillows, a duvet and a warm throw. An allergy free pillow and a hot water bottle can be found in the chest of drawers. I supply two large towels, a hand towel, a dish towel and a bath mat for each booking.

Planning for a touristy visit to my home town? Live like a local in one of the most central & trendiest areas in the city with a great choice of cafes & restaurants nearby. Coming on business? Work from my spacious bureau desk with the fastest internet in town and plenty of USB sockets and & a wireless desk lamp! Bringing a car? Save £££ & park for free in my residents' only parking :-). Using public transport instead? My home is less than 5 min walk to Leith Walk & MacDonald Road tram stop.

Cosy, comfortable and homely Edinburgh flat.

Welcome to my one bedroom flat! It is in Edinburgh’s Meadowbank area, only 20 minutes walk from the city centre or 10 minutes by bus. The whole flat will be yours when you stay here. It sleeps 3 people – there is a double bed in the bedroom and also a large couch in the living room. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely bathroom with a powerful shower. You will have access to my library of books, fast broadband Wifi, TV with Netflix + Amazon Prime and a Gooogle home with Spotify.

Peaceful sunny & central artists flat with parking

Located just 15-20 mins walk to Holyrood Palace and the foot of the Royal Mile and Edinburgh's Old Town and right next to Queens Park, and the volcanic peak of Arthur's seat. This artists flat is a little rough around the edges and rustic in nature but it's a special place that's spacious, bright and peaceful, despite being close to town. You’ll love our large shared garden , the cozy living room and the close proximity to the royal park and volcano in the front garden! great for dogs!

This is a freshly refurbished flat in a restored Victorian townhouse with Arthur's seat visible from the garden. Conveniently situated on a main road into the city centre, it is 10 minutes by bus or 25 minutes walking, bus stop located across the road. It is a popular area with many bars, restaurants, The Queen's Hall and Festival Theatre nearby. You can also enjoy a walk in neighbouring Holyrood Park, taking in the Science Museum and The Scottish Parliament Building which are close by.
