Casa del Scottie is a charming updated apartment, once home to an officer during WWII. The community, then called Camp Gordon Johnston, was set near the beautiful beaches of the gulf coast, and St George Island, for easy access during training for the D-Day invasion! It is situated conveniently between the fresh, upscale town of Appalachacola, and the scenic state parks of Wakula Springs. Lanark is a beautiful place to stay to explore the history and breathtaking beaches of the Forgotten Coast!

One of our favorite cafes, The Bada Bean, serves excellent breakfast and brunch and is just a few blocks down the street (walking distance).

Adorable Rustic Lofted Cabin Close to Tallahassee

Come, relax at my cozy, cabin in the country! It's 12 ft by 14 ft with a loft. There's a full size bed with a twin cot in the loft and plenty of throw pillows. Included is a private bathroom with shower and hot water! Also it has a TV, DVD player, AC/heat, mini fridge, microwave and WiFi. We're on a county road that's only 2 miles to I-10 and 25 minutes to Tallahassee for your convenience. And within a half hour's drive are 6 prisons for visiting day!

Spring Creek Getaway

Located in Spring Creek FL, a safe fish camp community on the gulf waters. This tiny house is the place to relax. Rocking chairs, fire pit, and sunsets all provided right here. Bring your boat and use the private boat ramp or launch the fishing kayaks provided. The house was decorated by my wife and deep cleaned by the both of us!! Established neighborhood less than 2 miles from FSU and downtown; 1 block to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Restaurants under 1/2 mile! It is on our property and we personally clean the studio. Goat House Farm is a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational farm. All profits go toward supporting the mission of the farm. Come and de-stress by snuggling our goats. These bouncing bundles of joy are guaranteed to make you smile! We are near Tallahassee but in a rural area, down a bumpy dirt road, but we promise the trip is worth it. Kayaking and hiking right off the property, plus beautiful sunsets on the lake.
