Tailwind Cottage

A rural farm-stay retreat, located on a drowsy country lane! Our property includes flower gardens and an event barn. There are plenty of day adventures throughout the area, although we won’t blame you if you don't want to leave! We flipped our garage into this cozy guesthouse with vintage, earthy, Bohemian vibes. You'll find good coffee and special touches here. Eat al fresco in the Binzebo or meditate amongst flowers! Be still - you might hear sandhill cranes, owls, pheasants or coyotes.

Sage Street Retreat, a quiet and relaxing getaway

Kick back and relax when you stay at this quiet home on a tree lined street. The family will love the local swimming pool just down the street. Historic Lidtke Mill on the Upper Iowa River is just a mile away. Echo Valley Horse Arena is nearby and has fun shows to see. Niagara Cave is located 20 miles away in Harmony, MN and is a great underground adventure. Forestville/Mystery Cave is a state park nearby which offers hiking and horse trails. This home is just off the snowmobile trail also.

Elma Guest House

The one bedroom, one bathroom unit can accommodate up to four people. There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom and the living room couch folds out to a queen bed. Wireless internet and two 32 inch SMART TV's await you. Quiet area and in the community where a lengthy bike trail begins. Perfect for a visit to the community, a weekend of biking or exploring Northeast Iowa or for temporary job assignments. Fully equipped kitchen and coin operated laundry on site.

Dale’s Place

Dale’s Place is a fully furnished two bedroom, one bathroom ranch house. Accommodations await you for a night, a week or a longer stay! Old Stone House

Enjoy a memorable visit! Stay in this beautifully restored limestone farmhouse built in 1869 on the banks of the Upper Iowa River, situated adjacent to the historic Lidtke Mill and across the river from the campground and park. You will enjoy a peaceful country atmosphere with plenty of room to relax. Comfortably sleeps 6 with full kitchen, laundry, and 1.5 baths.

Elma Guest House, Too

This one bedroom groundfloor unit can sleep up to 4 people and is located in a small town in Northeast Iowa that sits at the head of a 25 mile plus bike trail. Fully equipped with two flat screen SMARTV 32" televisions, wi-fi and a well equipped kitchen, this unit makes a great stay for short term work assignments, family visits to the area, hunting trips, etc.

Single bed in the basement rec/guest room. This is in the house I live in which means I will be around most of the time and we share the one bathroom and kitchen. I love having a guest for a few days, but sometimes turn down requests for longer stays. All proceeds go to charity; most to Roads to Tanzania and the Sisters water project in Central America.

The Blonde, The Beard, & The Bee N Bee
