This is a very special cottage in a beautiful location. We very much enjoyed the private beach and sauna. The kayak, waterboard and canoe were a great hit with the kids. Having the lawn and the shallow steps to the beach was particularly great for keeping an eye on the kids and easy access to the water for grandma. We didn't need them as we were outside most of the time, but there are games and Lego available for kids which I thought was a lovely touch. We would definitely like to come back! Fyi: One thing we missed with this listing is that there are no bedside lamps in any of the rooms which made reading very tricky as the overhead light is very dim.

My stay at this cottage was fantastic! The serene surroundings provided the perfect escape from daily life. The cottage was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, from a fully stocked kitchen to a cozy fireplace. The outdoor patio was a great spot for morning coffee, and the Wi-Fi and entertainment options were excellent. The space was stylish and comfortable, with incredibly cozy beds. The cleanliness was outstanding—everything was spotless, and the linens were fresh. The host was responsive and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat. I’m already looking forward to returning!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay. The weather was a bit sketchy, however, we were still able to marvel at two beautiful sunsets. Very clean cottage, comfortable beds, clean linens. Exactly as pictured. Highly recommend two local restaurants; George’s in Kincardine and Fig … amazing meals and friendly staff. Look forward to coming back again. Thank you Nicole and Mike.

Had an awesome stay in Grandbend! House was well equipped with everything we needed and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The neighbourhood was quiet and the property was nice and private. Any information i needed was already provided and everything was a bike ride or short drive away. Would be more than happy to stay again.

This was the perfect get away for our family. The private fenced in lot had tons of space for our dog to play. The large mature trees felt like we were deep in the forest but the lake was only a few steps away! The beach was clean and private. The cottage was perfect! We felt right at home, with all the amenities that we needed. Moon was easy to deal with and very helpful. We would definately rent again, and recommend to friends and family!

What a wonderful place to stay during the summer. The cottage is gorgeous, and Chantale has even documented some of the fascinating history of the house. Everything is exactly as described in the listing - if you read it carefully there will be no surprises and you will have a worry-free trip. Communication was great and Chantale was very friendly and accommodating. The beach is great! It's sandy but also has many rocks (especially in the water) so some water shoes may be a good idea for those with sensitive feet. And as for those sunsets - just amazing, and can be enjoyed both at the cottage or down on the beach. Highly recommended !!

We stayed for a week looking for peace and relaxation and that is exactly what we got at Curtis' place! From the moment we walked in until the time we left we loved every minute. Everything was as good or better than the photos showed. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything needs to meal delicious meals. The bathrooms were squeaky clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Wi-fi worked well and we were able to stream services like Netflix, Crave, Prime, etc. We were the last cottage at the end of the road so it felt very private. We stayed in winter so the lake wasn't accessible but looks like it would be fun in summer! Curtis was an amazing host. He checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure everything was alright. We are already looking at booking another stay.

First of all a big thanks to jaime for providing the best place for Christmas get together The cottage is well maintained and everything which is included in our stay exceeded the expectations. Quiet and private space with fully equipped kitchen, cozy couches to relax, comfortable beds and of course the best view of the lake. As we have enjoyed our stay for the Christmas holidays and will surely plan for the stay in summer to enjoy the beaches and decks. Again thanks to jaime for providing us the best Christmas gift

We spent our family reunion here at Zac’s place for the Easter long weekend and had an amazing time. Our stay was better than expected with everything you can think of. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, bonfire, theatre room downstairs and the kids loved having the entire upstairs to themselves. The Alexa speaker all around the house was an added bonus. We cannot thank Zac & his family enough for the accommodation. We would love to come back & create more memories with our family in the near future.

Dan and Crystal were always fast to respond and very friendly. Allowed us early access and even offerd visiting family to stay overnight! Home is beautifully decorated with many extra features but not cluttered. Kitchen is well equipped and also stocked with unexpected pantry and food supply items. Extremely dog friendly with a large dog bed by the fireplace and a secure lead outside. Private side deck with BBQ, patio table and chairs with direct access from house. Full width front deck with chairs and fire pot, also direct access from interior. Location of dog lead allows for access to both side and front decks. They even offer use of kayaks and bicycles kept in garage. Great location to everything in town and the beach but yet quiet location. Every room very clean and home is very new. Even greated by a welcome basket. Definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed. Highly recommended .

We hosted a girls weekend away at Kim’s cottage & it was perfect for our group of 5! The outdoor space & beach front of stunning! Highly recommend it.
