Placed perfectly only a half block from the Thames River in the hidden architectural wonderland that is St Marys, Ontario is the recently renovated ‘Old Blue Cottage’. Just south of Stratford, 20 minutes northeast of London and a little under an hour’s drive from Kitchener-Waterloo you’ll find this quaint two-bedroom retreat; one featuring a bunk bed, and principle bedroom with a walkout to the covered back deck. The Byre Cabin at Grassroots Farm

The Byre is old English for 'the barn'. Our hand-built cabin comfortably sleeps two in an open concept main floor bedroom. Floor to ceiling windows allow you to enjoy field, orchard and pasture views! You'll also enjoy an indoor fireplace to keep you cozy in the colder months and an outdoor campfire to roast marshmallows on summer nights! The kitchen is well suited for light cooking. The bathroom features a rain shower and hot water. Magical string lights make your getaway extra special!

Then a 5 minute drive to Main Street with cool restaurants, boutique shops, and access to the boardwalk and public beach. If you just want to stay in, the cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor BBQ and entertainment area. This cottage can accommodate up to a max of 10 adults and 4 children.
