The listing doesn’t do Rachael’s home justice. It’s absolutely stunning- the river, the views and the home were stand outs. We loved stargazing by the outdoor fireplace. Rachael is friendly and provided thoughtful extras for guests. Highly recommend. One of our fav air bnb stays.

We had such an amazing stay at the cottage - it is super cute, really well thought out and just beautiful! Our only negative was that we didn't spend much time there! The views were amazing, the alpacas were a big hit with the kids - and fresh bread and jam were the cherry on top! Lisa was super responsive both before and during our stay - we would 100% recommend to other guests

Susan & Richard are Hosts with a capital H! Super friendly with helpful suggestions of the area. The Quarters has everything you need for a relaxing weekend including no wifi/signal. We loved that they gave up their time to give us a tour of their farm. Beautiful spot to get away from the city and the stars were amazing. Thank you

Really lovey stay. The perfect place for the occasion and a simple check-in check-out experience. Feels like a country cottage despite being on the main stretch in Amberly. Traffic noise is almost non-existent thanks to the layout of the house and the high wooden fence. The garden is fantastic too and we all wish we’d had more time to enjoy the place. Great local recommendations for food and drink too. Have already recommended to others who may be in the area in future. Thank you!

If your looking for unique, rustic and quirky accommodations just 40 mins north of Christchurch, look no further. Damian’s barn accommodation is such a fun place to stay. From the spa to the turntable with lots of old vinyl to belt out. Topping this off with a glass of his Pinot Noir on the veranda in the afternoon sun was the ultimate escape. Damian is a wonderful host, friendly and welcoming. His breakfast hamper option is very generous and delicious. We were lucky enough to have a tour of the main homestead which has been lovely restored by Damian and also has beautiful BnB accommodation. Two wineries with great food are just minutes down the road. All in all I couldn’t fault this unique accommodation. Thank you Damian for your welcoming hospitality. Cheryl & Donna

As expected, Waikari was small and quiet. The house was great for a relaxed few days, with lovely lounge and outdoor area. A bonus to be in walking distance of the local pub.
