The M11 is just over a mile away and Addenbrookes, AstraZeneca, Granta Park, Babraham Institute and Wellcome Genome Campus are all a short distance by car.

Riverside Retreat is located in the picturesque village of Ickleton, approximately 11 miles south of Cambridge and 5 miles north of Saffron Walden. Duxford Air Museum is 3.4 miles to the west. Ickleton has a local shop providing daily essentials. There are numerous public footpaths, and a nature reserve nearby. Welcoming pubs and cafes are a short trip away.

Charming refurbished Victorian cottage in a tranquil riverside setting with a private garden bordered by the River Cam/Granta on the old mill run at Whittlesford Mill. It is 6 miles from Cambridge, Duxford IWM is 2 miles away and there is a mainline station - Cambridge (10 minutes), London Liverpool Street (1 hour). The village has a gastro pub called The Tickell Arms, a restaurant called Provenance and The Red Lion. Saffron Walden is 8 miles away where Audley End House can also be found.

The Garden Annexe

Set in the historic village of Babraham, The Garden Annex is a tranquil, self-contained and spatious double room with TV, WiFi, microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and new, uniquely designed en-suite shower room complete with Japanese-style bidet toilet. Only 8 miles from Cambridge, so perfect for working in the city or surrounding area - a homely alternative to a hotel.

Barn Cottage is within easy reach of the market town of Saffron Walden, the historic Audley End Estate and Cambridge . It is comfortable in all seasons having underfloor heating and electric radiators . You have everything you need for a short or long stay. There are many wonderful country walks starting from the cottage.
