I loved it. I felt well taken care of and safe in a stunning, peaceful place. Rohini was a wonderful host, and everyone else in the village was lovely as well. My time there went by too fast! I hope to be back next year.

Rajashree was a wonderful host—very responsive, warm, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was so perfect that we genuinely didn’t feel like coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a serene environment!

We stayed in the property for only 1 day. The stay was very well & we thought to extend the trip for 1 more day. The property was easy accessible to all the scenic places around kodai & town. Special thanks to Rani aunty because she took care our parents 85 years & 77 years very well providing room heaters & food

George is an excellent host, very responsive and attentive, always checking in to ensure our comfort throughout the stay. The cottage is exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, well-maintained, and with a neat bathroom. It's conveniently located right on Lake Road, making it easy to find. The area is calm and peaceful, with a beautiful garden that added to the charm. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed, and the portable heaters in both rooms kept us warm during the chilly nights. Priya, the caretaker, is an absolute gem. Her homemade food is delicious, and we ended up not eating out at all because her cooking was so good! She was always responsive to our needs. We stayed with our 1-year-old and 3-year-old, and both of them enjoyed the space and environment immensely. We will definitely visit again in the future. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful home! So serene, calm and beautiful views throughout. Mithun has really put a lot of thought into every aspect which is really appreciated. Getting to the stay is easiest by car as it's a slightly steep hilly walk, though a very pleasant one. The whole place is bright and airy, with stunning views yet very private. Yeshu, the kindly caretaker was around to help as best he could. The stay has no TV which I felt was a plus as you can really enjoy the stay while you're there, and Mithun has left lots of activities (badminton set, dart board) to keep guests entertained. Great suggestions for nearby food places, though I'd also suggest trying the real local smaller eateries where we had some really great food. Overall I'd recommend this stay, well worth it. Thanks Mithun (and Dad!) for a wonderful Peermade stay :)

Our Chef Ajith is an absolute culinary artist and put so much love and unique delicious flavors into his very personal cuisine. Ajith and our captain were wonderfully attentive and kind. Sorab's place is a true gem. The room has a spectacular view of the lake. I really feel that this is one of the best locations for a lake view stay as it's a little high up - so you have a panorama. And the room itself is like a log cabin. You also get a hearty breakfast meal every morning. And if you decide to order, don't hesitate as every meal was delicious (and tasted like mum's cooking because of the less oil used). If travelling during winter when it tends to get extremely cold, be mindful that a heater is available on rent (inr 100 per hour). You can even ask for a bonfire at additional charges. Also, it is one of the few pet friendly stays and your furry friend will have a gala time as there are loads of open spaces to roam about. There are a couple of dogs who come and go in the property. We even saw a wild bison! It was amazing. Bringing a pet will also be charged at inr 3000 extra (cleaning charges).
