Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings, heated floors, new appliances and natural sunlight. Backyard, fire pit and gas grill as well as outdoor eating space. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

This house is within an hour of Mesa Verde National Park, fishing, hiking, river sports, Pagosa Springs hot springs, Purgatory and Wolf Creek ski resorts, Vallecito and Navajo Lakes, and within 5 minutes of the Sky Ute Casino and the Southern Ute museum. The views from this place are amazing.

Our cottage is close to the airport and 20 minutes from Durango, 10 minutes from Ignacio. We are located in a great spot to explore all the great places the 4 corners area has to offer. You’ll love our cottage because of The quiet rural setting, the great view , brilliant stars and the bright sunshine. . Our cottage is good for couples to relax and rejuvenate . Our cottage is the original farm house which is over 100 yrs old and it has been completely updated.

This gorgeous, newly built 450 sq ft tiny home sits on secluded 60 acres w/ views of the mountains. It has a queen bed in the main bedroom and a couch that folds out into a full bed that is big enough for 2 kids or 1 adult. It has a full kitchen and full bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Fully equipped with Starlink internet with a TV in the bedroom and a TV and xbox in living room. 20 mins to Durango, 15 mins to the airport, and 10 mins to the Sky Ute Casino.
