My family and I had a short but great stay! The host is proactive, helpful and friendly and gave us a lot of helpful recommendations. It’s very close to all the historical and religious sights which proved very useful too. Thank you Anasuya, we’ll definitely be back!

Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Beide Schlafzimmer sind mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet und im Wohnzimmer gab es einen Ventilator. Restaurants waren nicht sonderlich viele in unmittelbarer Nähe, aber mit dem Tuktuk kommt man schnell und billig überall hin. Am zweiten Abend wurden wir mit einer kleinen Mahlzeit überrascht.

A great place with a view over the rice paddies. Super helpful hosts. Our kids loved the pool. The fireflies at night were magical. I highly recommend!

This place is just amazing. The house is very different and super cozy with a huge open air shower bathroom. Very close to the beach and lagoon. They offer very nice breakfast options with proper coffee and there are many restaurants and order options near by. The hosts are super nice, like friends, they'll make sure you'll have a good time. I also did a kite surfing course with their school and was very happy. All in all absolutly recommendable. See you again : )

Stayed between 15-18th of April 2025. This is the second time I visited this property. Absolutely a gem of place to relax and unwind. The location is full of nature only the sound of the birds can be heard. The views are stunning with a beautiful lake in front and a large paddy field. An unspoilt village to show children how the rural village life goes about. There are plenty of bicycle for the guests to use FoC and Can take a bicycle ride across the village and on the bundt of the lakes in and around and enjoy the picturesque views of the lakes and the Galkiriyagama rock that spans for 7kms. During the night only the sound of nature you can hear. In the evening a dip in the lake with the villages is not to be missed. The property is very clearly kept. The food is absolutely tasty and made in a kitchen cleanly kept. Ideal place to enjoy traditional Sri Lankan Rice and Curry and other Sri Lankan food. A place definitely you want to revisit over and over again. Great value for money.

Nayan's villa is even more beautiful than on the photos! The view over the beach and palmtrees is fantastic and the pool water is warm enough at all times of the day. We appreciated the various outdoor seating spaces as well as inside under the fan. It's very quiet & private apart from occasional fishermen trucks working on the beach. We have also really enjoyed the caretaker Martinez who tended to our needs every day, including bringing us coconut. We also made use of Pradeep's cooking and enjoyed having local food delivered every day to us to the villa. There was also lots of attention to detail, including beautiful flowers around the house and a fresh water tank, so that we wouldn't have to buy water in advance. Shower gel and shampoo was provided. We experienced a power cut once in the week we stayed for around 4hrs. Battery powered lamps and fans are provided for this case. Thank you Nayan, Martinez and Pradeep for a fantastic holiday! We can definitely recommend this place!

Great location on a smaller lagoon in the Kalpitiya area. Kite surfing option right next door, but in a nice quiet area. No swimming in the beach, but the pool was lovely. We went out on the kayaks each day, and spent hours in the lovely garden. Great option for family, or even two travelling together.

Devika is an amazing host, warm and friendly with a kind soul. Her family are very welcoming, and it was a pleasure to share there space. The tiny house is gorgeous. It's new and modern, with a well thought out design. We enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen, while watching the squirrels out of the window. The location is great, only a short ride to supermarkets, restaurants and sites. The bikes were a massive bonus, and we made use of them every day. Devika's garden is very peaceful, a lovely place to relax. Her communication was excellent, and we would not hesitate in recommending her home.

Elite Holiday Home is great base to go and explore Anuradhapura. The apartment is set in a leafy quiet suburb. It has two bedrooms with two large comfortable beds in each room with A/C and ensuite. The owners during our stay were always available, friendly, and very helpful as they helped arrange a driver to take us around the ancient city.
