It is also tastefully decorated with art and antique furniture giving it a very unique and boutique feel. Because the house is perfectly situated between downtown and Washington Park it is ideal for those doing business in the city center or tourists visiting the historic sites. There are four bedrooms each with a full bath and their own unique style. Just a 1/2 mile walk through a historic neighborhood to our beautiful downtown Galesburg.

Mary Todd - Love Is Eternal

Our home is from the Victorian era on the southern most point of Lake Springfield. It was completely lost to fire in 1991, and rebuilt. It is spacious, 5000 square feet on two sprawling acres with park like arbors and trees. Mary Todd room celebrates what is inscribed on her wedding ring; the love of family and life together. There is a queen sized bed, armoire for hanging clothes, dresser and desk/chair. The Airbnb cleaning and sanitizing protocol is used to keep the area guest ready.

Beautiful Miner's Cottage in a Garden

This 1840's miner's cottage in the heart of Galena is only 3 blocks from beautiful, historic and fun Downtown Galena Main Street, but is far enough to have quiet times in the quarter acre yard of perennial gardens as well the expansive 2 story front porch, and 3rd porch off the kitchen, with gas grill. The house sits on a corner lot in the Galena National Historic District. The bathroom and kitchen are newly remodeled and the entire house is designer decorated. Beautiful!
