Nursing Station - SouthWest

This is where the Northern Lights dance! The ‘Nursing Station’ is one of few original buildings in town - beautifully renovated with ra Scandinavian flair. Located by the river and the Frobisher Bay on one side - and endless tundra on the other. Great year round hiking- and skiing in winter. The old Nursing Station was built in 1955 and is one of the oldest buildings. It has endured every blizzard so far. Only 5 min. walk to the shore and the old Hudson Bay post. All necessary amenities are 8 minutes drive away, including museum, restaurants, movie theatre, grocery stores, e.c.
