Constructed from two old tobacco barns (with fireplace), this property provides a unique experience-connecting the past & present. The cabin is surrounded by nature’s beauty and Big Reed Island river flows only feet from the front porch. Set on 32 acres, the cabin has a large porch with rocking chairs perfect to enjoy views of the river & mountains. New addition includes an outdoor shower! Please expect no internet, a TV for DVD/CDs only and limited cell reception. Truly unplug & relax.

Blue Ridge Parkway, soaking tub, hot tub, internet, coffee, hiking, and a view in Fancy Gap. What is needed for Glamping? Clothes, food, We have everything else covered! I own a nice fishing spot 3 miles away that my guests are welcome to. Mother Earth is super comfy with plush blankets washed between each stay, comfortable seating and open the dome to enjoy that fresh mountain air, and stargaze! There is a propane fireplace and a minisplit for heat/ac. A queen bed, and sleeper sofa.

Ready for a rustic getaway? Our unique rental is located in a working horse barn and wedding venue in the peace and quiet of the country, and less than 5 minutes from I-77! Enjoy your morning coffee on our porch overlooking the rolling hills and pasture fields. Horses do not live in the barn anymore, but in our pasture surrounding the barn. You can enjoy morning or evening walks around the hay field or with a short drive get to the river or new river trail for some outdoor activities!

This spacious home is the perfect place to base your vacation on the New River Trail! We are located on the trail at mile marker 12.5 on one of the prettiest parts of the New River Trail. From the veranda you can listen to the rapids of the New River spilling into Claytor lake. There is a boat launch less than a half mile away offering free river access. Little travelers have their own space with a play room upstairs and plenty of room to play outside.
