Our stay at HeavenValley was amazing! Divya was a fantastic host, making us feel at home with her warm hospitality. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and had excellent amenities for a comfortable stay. We loved the campfire and outdoor grill chicken, which made our evenings special. Divya also treated us to delicious Kerala food, adding to the authentic experience. If you're looking for a peaceful and welcoming homestay in Munnar, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful private villa. The place was exactly as describe, perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the stunning living room with a fully openable wall that overlooked the river and garden - like an indoor-outdoor lounge. It created a seamless connection with nature and was simply breathtaking. The 3BHK villa was spacious, clean, and came with a lovely pool. The caretaker and the chechi who stayed on-site to help with housekeeping and preparing quick meals were courteous and helpful, making our stay all the more comfortable. The location was serene and peaceful - ideal for unwinding.

We had a wonderful stay over New Year! The property was exactly as described—clean, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The spaces were ideal for celebrating with loved ones, and the lush greenery added a special touch. Satheeshkumar was an excellent host, always responsive and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this property. We’re already planning to return!

Caretaker was great and accommodating. Helped us order our dinner and also beer (: Really peacefully place. Can't hear traffic at all. Bed was comfy. Some things to note: There's no aircon but you don't need it at all. You will have to walk down a trail of stairs (mud and stone). So be prepared and best if you bring backpack instead of roller luggage. I had no issues with this. The bathroom does not have piped hot water. You will have to boil in the kettle they provide and have a bucket shower. I had no issues with this. Not much to eat or do there. Really just go and chill with your book or boardgames.

Incredible mountain views, very comfortable. Perhaps difficult if you have no transportation, and quite a long way from Munnar proper. But seemed anywhere in a 50km radius was ‘Munnar’

Our stay in Marayur was absolute bliss — a truly grounding experience. At first, my wife was a little skeptical about potential bug bites, given the open-to-nature setting. But the mudhouse was thoughtfully built — sustainable yet surprisingly comfortable — offering the perfect blend of nature and ease. The caretakers, Latha Chechy and Sony Chettan, were incredibly helpful and always just a call away for anything we needed. Host Deepu was warm, welcoming, and highly attentive to our needs. Though it was meant to be just a mid-stop on our road trip, we genuinely felt like staying a bit longer. Despite having no air conditioning, the mudhouse cooled down beautifully in the evenings, and not once did we feel hot or humid — a delightful surprise! The food was another highlight: a great variety with authentic flavors that truly satisfied. We’ll definitely be visiting again!

The property had an amazing experience! The property was nestled amidst lush greenery and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were cozy and clean, with all the necessary amenities. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the proximity to the Marayoor Sandalwood Tree plantations. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Joby's place is a great place to stay if you're opting for some peaceful private vacation. The house has all the basic amenities. One thing to keep in mind is to plan your food requirements. Recommended to pack your groceries if you can cook as they have kitchen with gas stove and utensils or you can purchase in the nearby shop ( Timings are important ). Hotels are not very accessible but Joby/host will arrange if you're not in a position to cook. Other than that the place Mankulam is so rich that is filled with nature and beautiful people. Do visit once.
