Ever stayed in a shipping-container renovated into a self contained unit (or ‘donga’ as we call them in the NT)? Why not give it a try! It has only previously been used for travelling family but its too good not to share with Airbnb guests. The space is fully equipped for your stay with a private bathroom and kitchenette. It is insulated, has a ceiling fan and air-conditioning. There is an additional wall fan in the bathroom and a clothes hanger for your convenience. No smoking on the property.

The property is an approx 15min drive from the Mindil Beach Casino, Mindil Beach Markets, the Darwin Entertainment Centre and 4km from the Airport.

Enjoy this original Bali Bungalow with ensuite nestled in the back corner of our family’s tropical garden. It offers a simple double bed, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave and deck. A large swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, laundry and various sitting areas are available to share. We are close to everything - foreshore, markets, buses etc. You will easily be able to soak up every sunset possible during your stay! The Little Gecko Retreat is a beautiful large self contained unit, nestled in its own privately fenced courtyard. It’s offers a main bedroom with ensuite/laundry, spacious kitchen with oven,fridge and microwave, fold out sofa bed & tv in lounge and a large patio for outdoor dinning. The unit is fully air-conditioned and has fans throughout. It is located in the heart of Darwin’s Northern Suburbs, just 5 minutes from the airport and Casuarina Shopping centre & 15 minutes drive of Darwin City

Self-contained, ultra-modern guesthouse with pool

Our modern, fully self-contained, one-bedroom guesthouse is the perfect place to explore Darwin and its surrounds. It's one of the few Airbnbs around with a pool (but it's very hot in Darwin, so we may need to use it occasionally too). It’s 1-bedroom but we have two foldout single beds that can accommodate an extra child or two. It's the bottom floor of our elevated home, but is completely separate with its own entrance. You may hear the odd footstep above, but we do our best to tiptoe.
