Beautiful guest house, located steps from the main house, hidden from public. The cabin is tucked away in our manicure backyard. Spacious fenced in yard where your fur babies can run free. Enjoy the large pergola with comfy seating for nighttime relaxation or dining. The house offers a living room, kitchenette (NO STOVE) and spacious bathroom. The second floor is a large LOFT with a dividing wall separating the two sleeping areas. There are 13 steps to the second floor. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTY!

Cozy Rustic Cabin at Whetstone Creek Farm

Unwind in a private mini retreat- enjoy waking up in the king size bed to forest views, birdsong, and a front porch made for sitting! Listen to rain on the tin roof or enjoy a bonfire in the fire pit after taking a stroll down our private wooded trails or wading in the creek. No Smoking in home, No animals or pets allowed! 30 mi to Lynchburg, 11 to Altavista. This cabin boasts 100 acres of serene nature while hiking the trails, fishing and swimming in the river. Canoe from the boat slip down river to the long Island community center. Relax on the large rocking chair front porch with your honey on the porch swing, or roast marshmallows and sip drinks around the fire pit! This is not a party house, it is meant to relax and enjoy peace, quiet, and nature, enjoy!

Radiant heat. AC. Mini fridge and microwave, electric kettle, Chemex coffee maker and French Press, excellent wifi. Unique space in one of the best country neighborhoods around. 6.5 miles to Hillsborough healthy grocery store, 8 to Carrboro/Chapel Hill, 18 to Durham. Serene pond and grounds.
