Beautiful fully renovated *Attached guest suite is centrally located 3.5 miles away from historical downtown. Also walking distance to the Avondale bars and winery and 25-30 minutes away from local beaches. This guest suite offers 2 rooms, one being the guest bedroom, And the other a dayroom and living area. The day room offers a kitchenette and coffee bar that is stocked with complementary coffee. Upon arriving guests will have full access to the main drive way for parking/ private entrance.

The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

A few miles from historic & scenic downtown Charleston and Folly Beach this is the ideal location for your next vacation! You will enjoy complete privacy with a separate entry. Bedroom consists of Queen bed, dresser, armoire and library. You will love the walk-in shower complete with ceiling-to-floor tile. This cozy guest house is located on Ocean View Road, which is a dead end. A quick down walk down the road and you will see Clark Sound and the Morris Island Lighthouse. The private driveway will easily accomodate your vehicle as well as a boat trailer should you decide to bring your own boat. Sunny Spot is 7 miles from Folly Beach and about 7 miles from downtown Charleston. It is also very close to John's Island where some excellent restaurants and breweries can be found.
