This adorable cabin is located on 25 acres and is home our miniature donkey, Honkey, as well as lots of goats, 2 other donkeys, and horse companions that all LOVE to meet new people! You can also get your fill of all the local wineries, breweries, and scenery the hill country has to offer. If you are looking for a place to unwind, stargaze, explore nature and take in the beauty of the hill country, and still be close to Austin, this is the place for you!

Unwind in a restored log cabin just for two with special comforts and seclusion, perched amidst oak trees, with a detached screened porch/fireplace. There is ONLY ONE guest cabin on 26 acres with our Lake Travis shoreline in the distance. A pastoral sunrise view of deer across the field begins the day. Central A/C, smart tv, clawfoot tub/shower, cotton bedding, duvet and robes. Propane grill. See the night sky, Wildlife/flowers, birding, stars-all yours. We opened Chanticleer Log Cabin in 1996!

The Cabin has its own driveway/parking.There is a well defined path, 5 min walk to the River, where you can relax, picnic,swim, Kayak or fish. At Cabin we have Volleyball, Cornhole, Horseshoes, Tetherball, Fire-pit wood, pool for you and your family to enjoy in warm weather with privacy. *Sorry but we will not be able to host parties.
