Situated amidst lush green surroundings and views of the hills, it is a few steps away from ShantiKunj, an exemplary flora nursery. The bus/taxi stand in the town centre is 2km away. Walks in all directions leads the flaneur through Kalimpong’s suburbs to the scenic Pujedara or to the Roerich centre at the iconic British-era Crookety up on the hill.

Panorama. A Heritage Bungalow

‘Panorama’ where the last King of Burma’s second daughter spent an idyllic life in exile from 1947 onwards. She lived here with her husband till April 4, 1956. It is a beautiful property with a 180 degree view of the Himalayan range during the months when there is no haze. One can also see the western part of Kalimpong town. It's an almost 100 years old bungalow built during the British Raj. It is well maintained with polished floorboards and red oxide floors and fire places.
