We had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The pretty garden with the old cottage created a peaceful and rustic atmosphere, the food was delicious and homely. They served breakfast in the garden surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.The rooms were clean and cozy. The hosts were incredibly warm and thoughtful — they gave good local recommendations and also made sure we never got lost while exploring. The location was easily accessible and the cafes were at a walking distance. If you want to take a break from your hectic life and spend a few lazy days in a mountain town it's the place for you.

We had a wonderful stay in Badamtam in Rebika ji’s house. It’s a very pretty house, with thoughtfully decorated interiors and spacious balconies having great views of the surrounding mountains and tea gardens. Rebika ji is an amazing host and made us feel right at home from the moment we had checked in. Her home cooked meals were delicious and always served hot and with lots of love ❤️. We also enjoyed bonfire every evening and Rebika ji prepared a lovely barbecue along with the bonfire on new year eve 🥰. Rebika ji’ son Ashu was very helpful and courteous. He showed us around the place and took us to nice view points. It’s pet friendly which was an addendum advantage to us. Overall we had an awesome and fun stay in Rebika ji’s place and would like to visit again. Thanks Rebika ji for your wonderful hospitality and warmth for us!

Every detail —, from the cozy furnishings to the lovingly prepared vegetarian breakfasts — reflected genuine care and thoughtfulness. The home is tastefully done, with access to a delightful garden and stunning views of the hills and tea estates. Waking up to the sounds of nature and sipping hot Darjeeling tea became a highlight of our day. The personal touches, whether it was the stories they shared, the help with local tips, or simply checking in to ensure we were comfortable, made all the difference. Rapden & Ankita were great host. Ankita greeted us and welcomed us same as meeting an old friend. She was proactive throughout the stay. Made us feel like home from day one. We enjoyed the stay a lot. Despite our booking for a short room they upgraded us to a comfortable one considering our needs. Thank you so much for making us feel like home. Too good place definitely should give a visit and also not to forget the mesmerising view from the balcony.

We stayed in a cozy room with a lounge area, spending hours reading books and journaling undisturbed while enjoying Manjit’s masala tea. Kalpanaji, a warm-hearted elderly woman, added a special touch to our stay, infusing everything she did with care and affection. On days we weren’t out exploring, I would sit in the spacious kitchen-cum-dining area, chatting with her as she worked. Our conversations were delightful, and I even picked up a few cooking tips! These moments made my trip more enriching. Truly, it is not just a stay—it is an experience. It is a home first and foremost—a genuine family space—not a commercial stay dressed up to mimic the feel of a home. From a traveler’s perspective, Mungpoo offers excellent accessibility to all the tourist spots one would typically cover from Sittong. However, unlike Sittong, Mungpoo is refreshingly quiet, free from the usual tourist rush, and perfect for those seeking serenity and those who like to explore places associated with Tagore.

Had a good stay at Anjalina’s place. Cozy room with a door to the balcony. Mattress, pillow, and quilt were comfy and pillow cover/ sheets were clean. There was a kitchenette which was nice to prepare morning coffee and tea whenever you wanted to. Road leading to the property is nice and two wheeler parking was a blessing. Communication with Anjalina was cool and she also recommended local food places. Will definitely visit again and will recommend to friends and fam. Thanks!

This is a lovely little stay in a charming small mountain village. Anjalina made our friend feel at home and helped him with some practical things like arranging local transport.

Our stay was fantastic! The standout feature of this Airbnb was the exceptional cleanliness. The space was absolutely spotless from the moment we arrived, which made us feel immediately comfortable and at home. Beyond the cleanliness, we really appreciated the minimalist and uncluttered design. There was no excessive furniture or unnecessary items, creating a very open and airy feel. This simplicity made the space feel larger and more relaxing. If anyone is a fan of korean / japanese food, do visit "Nom Nom" which is on the way to the airbnb (5 mins walking distance). Prasan is a responsive, helpful, friendly host. He is so humble. It was a refreshing and peaceful place to stay. Highly recommended!

It was one of my best stays. Calm and cozy place. The host leon is a great friend and a gem of a person. His passion for everything including the hospitality is just home away from home. The places and squeaky clean lashed with all amenities required for a comfortable stay. The staff too are really polite and helpful and available at your service. The location is placed on the town and has an authentic bhutanese restaurant. Must try I would recommend people visiting should definitely consider this place for a hassle free stay and an unforgettable hospitality.

Beautiful and cozy stay. The place was very clean.Loved the drawing room,the large window provides a nice view and in clear days you can see Kanchenjungha too. There were quite a nice collection of books. The property has a few dogs which was certainly a plus point for me 🤗 Check-in and checkout process was hassle free. Kitchen was well equipped, complimentary coffee,tea,milk,noodles,chips were provided. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet and peaceful getaway.

I really love staying in coozy nook. As it’s best for 2 people and it’s cozy, comfortable and clean. Samriddhi is very helpful and can sort out 99 problems starting from taxi, recommendations, call check ups everything necessary. So yes it’s totally worth the price. And special notable thing at her property is you will feel like home with the best landscaping view of entire city. Wish her all the best.

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

had a great time here, the room was really pretty and everything was well cleaned. Tejistha was extremely helpful and responsive all the time..he set up the fireplace for us. one of the best places I've stayed in Darjeeling. it is around 12 minutes walk to mall road...a. bit far but good for morning and evening strolls. the neighbourhood is quite and peaceful. overall a great place to stay in:)
