Lovely Historic School, Karitane

Our unique stand alone studio is a small, historic, renovated school, close to the village of Karitane. The school has everything you need for a warm, comfortable stay. There are books, a CD player and games for your use. We live in a repurposed sheep shearing shed nearby and both buildings are surrounded by extensive gardens and plantings. There are panoramic views of the very picturesque coast line and out to sea. It is very peaceful and private.

City cottage

A beautifully restored two bedroom 1880s settlers cottage offers a blend of historic character with modern comforts nestle in a pretty setting, just a short distance from the city where you can visit local shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. The home features a open plan living area with modern kitchen and bathroom, enjoy a coffee in the morning and a cold beverage and barbecue in the evening.

The Kakanui Cube

This fabulous little contemporary beach house is right across the road from the ocean. Stroll along the waterfront to Campbell's Bay surf break and the gorgeous sandy beach to All Day Bay. Tatahi is in the small, quiet, coastal village of Kakanui which is a 10 minute drive south of Oamaru. Our place is a comfortable three bedroomed home with stunning views over Campbell’s Bay. It is perfect for a get away for couples or family groups and is just a short 5 min walk from the beach.
